We have been coming to St Regis Saddiyat since 2012, sometimes twice a year and will continue to return year after year. From the moment we pull up in our car outside the entrance to this amazing hotel we are greeted so warmly by staff who are genuinely pleased to see us. We know many of the staff so well that they almost feel like family. Our experiences over the 13yrs we have been coming here has been nothing but exceptional and we are always very sad to leave. Every detail and every wish is catered for and we want for nothing.
The room is luxurious and comfortable serviced by Jene and her housekeeping team to a very high standard. The butler service is five star. The Olea restaurant led by Akil and his team is absolutely superb and as my is coeliac therefore gluten free she is looked after by the chefs without any worries at all. They will cook for her whatever she wishes and take care in keeping her safe. So if you have any dietary requirements there is no need for any concerns.
The adult pool is a peaceful sanctuary and Panda and his team can’t do enough for us. The beach team provide a wam welcome with ice cold water in preparation for our morning beach walk, we stop and have a chat with the friendly lifeguards and we are occasionally lucky enough to see dolphins swimming close to the shore.
In the evening the Manhattan Bar has an extensive range of drinks and the most incredible and unique range of cocktails. The venue is run by our good friend Don and his world class mixologists John, Manjula, Jude and the team. This is a great place to meet for pre and post dinner drinks.
The new Ginori Cafe is a great addition to the lobby and is buzzing with activity every night and is proving to be a great success led by Portia and her team.
We were fortunate enough to be invited to experience the newly renovated Sontaya. What a truly exceptional restaurant with the most amazing views. We looked after by Rhener and Shwe the food was out of this world, delicious, aromatic, tasty, beautifully presented and on another level.
The Buddha Bar for a glass of fizz accompanied by some sushi a romantic sunset is certainly a very special location. Thank you Akil and the team.
This hotel always exceeds our expectations and the staff are exceptional, polite and professional.

Our room was beautifully decorated, and to our surprise, there was a thoughtful birthday gift waiting for my daughter which was such a lovely touch. The wonderful team at the Kids Club surprised my daughter with a cake, making her birthday even more special and memorable.
We dined at Olea for both dinner and breakfast, and the food was outstanding. The variety and quality were impressive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout.
This stay was full of thoughtful gestures and impeccable service. We felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. Thank you to everyone at St. Regis Saadiyat for making this occasion so special!
