“Ritz Review- astonishing”

My stay here at the Ritz is not yet over but I’ve felt compelled to point out some of the best parts of my stay during my work trip. The pool, gym, and different restaurants downstairs are quite nice, one could not ask for much better. However, the team that works the upstairs club lounge is on a different level of customer service. Prabhu, Diego, Goldie, Kumar, Samir, Michael, Joseph (just to name a handful that I can remember) and everyone else on their team always make folks feel very “at home” when they come upstairs for a drink or a meal. Their service is set apart from the other amenities because whether it was the first meal or the 20th, they always welcome you like a friend that they haven’t seen for some time. They are always professional and make sure that guests are always satisfied whether it’s with their meal or taking care of an additional amenity on the property. I can certainly say that I will miss this fun team of folks when I depart.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel as we can’t fault it. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted like long lost family by all the staff. Salman, Ashok and Christopher help us through check-in and continued to care for us throughout our stay. We stayed in a Club Suite which was serviced daily by Sanket who not only maintained our room to a high standard but left us amazing towel art daily. The suite gave us access to the Club lounge, which provides daily breakfast, lunch and dinner and complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day. The wonderful team are warm and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable without exception. Special thanks to Dipika, Prabhu, Joseph, Michael, Samir, Goldie, Sabine and chef Leila for making us feel so special. We also ate the restaurants at The Forge, Li Jiang and Mijana. Food was excellent in all,as well as the service. We went to Li Jiang on our anniversary and they made us feel very special. Pool areas well kept and serviced by a team that work tirelessly in extreme heat. Special mention to Rafiq, Babu, Anil and Ibrahim who ensured our comfort and kept us well watered. There is currently building work going on in the hotel grounds, with some noise. It didn’t bother us, but there were guests that weren’t happy about it. You were made aware of this when booking. Looking forward to our next stay.
