Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Who says you have to choose between city sights and sandy shores? At Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, you can enjoy a little of both. Set within Abu Dhabi’s waterfront Qaryat Al Beri complex, this laid-back retreat comes with its own private stretch of beach, perfect for slow mornings in the sunshine, and an outdoor pool for a refreshing dip after a day exploring. Inside, rooms and suites feel warm and welcoming, with wooden furnishings, spacious bathrooms, separate showers, and deep-soaking baths made for lingering a little longer. When hunger calls, head to Afyä for international flavours and al fresco dining, enjoy a chilled drink at the Poolbar, or settle beneath the glass roof of the Lobby Lounge for a leisurely catch-up. There’s a health club for keeping active and a dedicated play area for little ones, too. Beyond the hotel, hop aboard a traditional abra boat and glide along the complex’s waterways towards the souk. And if relaxation is high on your agenda, treat yourself to some pampering at Chi, The Spa at the neighbouring Shangri-La. Whether you’re travelling as a couple or bringing the family along, it’s a lovely spot to enjoy Abu Dhabi at your own pace, with a little sand between your toes.
