I had a wonderful stay at Andaz Dubai The Palm, even though my time in Dubai was less than 24 hours. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was made to feel genuinely welcome. Mr. Ahmed Sami ensured I had a great experience right away with his warm and professional hospitality. A special mention goes to the supervisor, who was kind enough to upgrade my room and surprise me with thoughtful birthday treats brought to my room, a truly lovely and unexpected gesture. Despite my short stay, the entire team at Andaz made me feel completely at home. As a Travel Advisor, I must say that their attention to detail and genuine care for guests really stood out for me. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to booking stays for my clients visiting Dubai.

“A Stylish Palm Stay with a Newborn: Great Vibes, but Mind the Details!”

We recently spent a week at the Andaz Dubai The Palm this December with our newborn. Overall, it’s a "super" hotel in a prime location, offering that vibrant Dubai energy we were looking for. However, as any parent knows, the devil is in the details! Here’s the breakdown of the highs and the "could-be-betters." The "Super" Highlights • Location & Arrival: Being on the Palm is always a treat. A huge shout-out for the free valet parking—it’s seamless, professional, and a genuine life-saver when you’re traveling with baby gear. • Cleanliness & Service: The housekeeping and general service levels were very satisfying. The hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is generally welcoming. • The Amenities: A little tip for future guests—the "extra" amenities are free, but they aren't always stocked in the room by default. You’ll need to ask for them at the lobby, but once you do, the quality is great. Areas for Improvement (The "Parental" Perspective) • The Transport Trap: Don’t rely on the Monorail; it’s more of a tourist attraction than a functional transit system. We found ourselves completely dependent on taxis. • Shuttle Schedule Squeeze: The shuttle to the Mall of the Emirates needs a rethink. The 11:00 AM slot is often too early when you're managing a family morning routine, and the next one at 2:15 PM feels like the day is already over. A 12:00 PM shuttle would be the "Goldilocks" sweet spot! • Dining Dynamics: The food is "good" (it hits the mark but doesn't necessarily blow you away). However, the service can be quite slow. It’s mostly buffet-style with limited à la carte flexibility, which can be a bit repetitive for a week-long stay. • The Spa Pricing: I skipped the spa entirely. In a city like Dubai, which offers some of the best luxury spa experiences in the world, the hotel’s pricing felt disconnected from the market reality. You can find world-class treatments elsewhere for the same price. Pro-Tip for Check-in 💡 If you value fresh air, specifically ask for a room with a balcony. We noticed that many of the "Sea View" rooms surprisingly do not have them. It’s worth double-checking at the front desk to ensure you get that outdoor space! Final Verdict: We left happy and would recommend it, but with a few tweaks to the shuttle timings and dining speed, this hotel could easily go from "great" to "perfect."
