The hotel

33 villas, 260 rooms and 153 apartments located in North and South Residence. All with air-conditioning, balcony, terrace or private pool, interactive 42” LED TV, telephone, WiFi access, media hub, mini-bar*, coffee machine, hairdryer, bathrobes, iron and board. Standard Rooms are located within the resort complex, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

One Bedroom Overwater Villas are perched over the beautiful waters of the Arabian Gulf and are the first of their kind in Dubai! They have 1 king-size bed and living area, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.Anantara 2-Bedroom Beach Pool Villa with private pool, master en-suite bedroom with 1 king-size bed, additional twin bedroom and separate living room, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.  

Apartment Residence (North Tower only), 1 and 2 Bedroom Apartments are located in the Anantara Residences (North and South Tower), adjacent to the resort, with modern kitchens and spacious interior, leading onto a large balcony spanning the entire width of the apartment offering views of the Arabian Gulf. Apartments have either resort pool and Palm views, or sea and city skyline views, walk-in rain shower. 1 Bedroom Apartments sleep maximum 2 adults and 2 children/infants (each child in an extra bed or each infant in a baby cot) or 3 adults and 1 child. 2 Bedroom Apartments sleep maximum 4 adults and 2 children, or 6 adults with 5th and 6th adult extra charge.

We booked a week’s stay over New Year’s Eve for 4 adults which included our 2 children who are in their 20’s. The New Year’s Eve gala dinner in Crescendo was amazing the best NYE gala we have attended. Our table was outside we could just about see the stage, had easy access to the bars and food stations. The tables had been decorated beautifully the whole venue was amazing. We loved the Mamma Mia singers and all the live entertainment. The dj and drummer were brilliant and we danced the night away. Watching the fireworks at midnight from the beach was special. On the beach was also live fire shows which were spectacular. Excellent choice of food from oysters & caviar to tasty deserts. We had booked via Emirates and it included the gala dinner and an alcohol drinks package for NYE. Our 2 rooms were 1st floor lagoon rooms and the hotel kindly gave us nextdoor rooms as requested. Our friendly room attendant Melan was excellent and cleaned both rooms to a very high standard and made beautiful towel art. We had booked full board and enjoyed delicious breakfasts in Crescendo. We loved the lunches in The Beach House and I recommend you prebook a table outside at lunchtime as they fill fast and inside doesn’t have the views. A big shout out to Tee who made us feel so welcome at any time of the day and even came to talk to us at the pool. Thank you Tee for your kindness and hospitality. We thought Bushman’s cooked perfect steaks. The whole dessert station in Crescendo was a real gingerbread house which looked amazing and the chef inside was very friendly. Bottled water is chargeable in every restaurant and by the pool. In Crescendo there are water jugs where you can help yourself. As much free water as you want is provided in your bedrooms. Loved our stay in the Anantara on The Palm. Our charming room led out through a private patio into a swimming pool which was great fun. We ate at three of the restaurants- Mekong, Bushman's and the Beach House and each provided great food and excellent service. We love the Anantara brand and can’t wait to visit another one of your venues.

We stayed in a lagoon access room for 10 nights before Christmas. The rooms are spacious and modern and the lagoon access was fabulous. The hotel is so family friendly with the staff so welcoming to babies and children. The hotel has a great variety of restaurants to enjoy, the Beach House being our favourite! We’ll definitely be returning!
