At the tip of the Palm Island, next door to Atlantis, The Palm. The resort is just a 25-minute drive from the centre of Dubai and a 15-minute drive to Dubai Marina. There is also a monorail to the mainland. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 45 minutes.

“Unable to make a proper flat white coffee”

I recently visited the Atlantis Royal with two guests. We ordered some drinks in the lobby bar - my order was a flat white. I received a very large cup of overly milky coffee, which I was informed was a cappuccino. I asked the waitress to bring the flat white that I had ordered. The same cup came back and I was then assured that it was actually a flat white, which it clearly was not. What was perhaps most disappointing was that the waitress simply took the cup away and no attempt was made to make it right. I would have expected a manager to come along and enquire as to the issue. I simply ended up not drinking anything. In some establishments this experience would be excusable. At Atlantis Royal, which proclaims itself to be on a different level to other five star hotels, one would expect better. There are thousands of baristas in Dubai with the skills to make a proper flat white, I suggest that they hire one of them.

Heidy at Gastronomy knew about my mom’s birthday and she made her birthday an unforgettable experience with all the gestures, the impeccable service, the birthday card, the flowers, the cake, and of course the delicious food Heidy makes us feel home, and for that reason I dine at Gastronomy on average once every 1-2 weeks And not to forget our gratitude to everyone in the team who served us Thank you all
