Half Board: Includes breakfast in the main restaurant, Hartisan, plus the Half Board Dine Around package allowing guests to dine at eight participating restaurants across Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and Hilton Dubai The Walk.

Guests can choose from:

• A buffet at the main restaurant (subject to availability), or

• A three-course set menu at selected à la carte restaurants, or

• A food-only credit from the regular menu at selected à la carte restaurants.

Participating restaurants include Trader Vic's, McGettigan's, Villa Verona and other participating outlets. Half Board can be taken as lunch or dinner. Children under 12 years eat free from the children's set menu when on the same meal plan as accompanying adults. Buffets are not guaranteed and may be replaced by a set menu.

“Summer in Dubai”

Just returned from a Dubai holiday with my family of 5. We stayed in a huge 2-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, large living/dining area and a washer/dryer which was a lifesaver for family laundry! We were on a half-board basis so the kitchen space was a great bonus. Housekeeping was daily and very attentive. The staff here are incredible. My daughter has severe egg and peanut allergies, and the chefs at Hartisan and Oceana Kitchen went above and beyond to cook custom meals and desserts for her so she never felt left out. Big thanks also to Caroline at reception for being so caring and checking us into our room early after our morning flight. On the downside the rooms look tired and really need modernisation. We even noticed tiny bugs on the old-fashioned bedside tables towards the end of our stay. Also our hotel pool was closed in the peak of summer forcing everyone to walk to the sister hotel. One pool for two hotels meant it was packed, and the "no reserving sunbeds" rule wasn't enforced at all leaving little space for families. There was an adult but obviously we wasn't able to use it with kids! But that pool was also small. Overall the food buffet and Villa Verona's lunch were good. The location is excellent—right by the JBR Walk (great food stalls and arcades, though pricey) and the Dubai Marina. Handy tip: use the footbridge at the back of the hotel to access the Marina easily, as the one-way road traffic in front makes crossing on foot impossible! We used careem and tabalat for food delivery which is quick and speedy. Also they have lots of welcome offers/ discounts so use both apps to see whats cheaper. Taxi's weren't that expensive and they are so convenient and available. There is usually a lot of traffic on the JBR strip in the evenings so would recommend being asked to get dropped at the back of the hotel. It was too hot to walk to train stations, i know that would have been cheaper. Apps that

“Amazing service”

I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. Walid, the Duty Manager, came over to make sure everything was going well, which I really appreciated. Arbab Khan from the concierge was also amazing—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. They both made me feel genuinely welcome. I'll definitely be back.

“Letdown”

Have stayed here and in hotel many times,but thus was by far worse time ever.I arrived off an overnight flight..so pretty tired,asked if wanted to do room upgrade..said would show me room wad getting then upgraded room,stepped out lift into corridor and was overpowered by damp musty smell,went into room and it was worse,told him couldnt stay in there,said didnt have other room,so pretty much had to pay fir upgrade..we at thus point jyst wanted a room..although a bigger room,still musty and very outdated and worn..but next day went back,and magicaly he had 5 rooms he shiwex me,all were stinking. I think hotels not been busy,and rooms were closed,was our 40 th wedding anniversary ruined,food was disgusting every night..cold,only goid thing was lovely staff. Never be back
