Amazing service from Lenon (butler), Ko (from room service), and Karius (from La Promenade) ! We will be back ! ❤️👏🏻 The buggy drivers were very kind and helpful, even the hotel was busy they were dealing with the clients exceptionally. A perfect destination to enjoy a luxury vacation!

Another great stay at Dar Al Maysaf having been coming here for twenty years. We stayed in villa 29 - the butler Nuran was excellent. He anticipated every need, he gave little balloons and treats for the kids and even got us a bottle of Prosecco in our room on the final day. He really made the effort and was the best Butler we have had. The Supervisor Brian was also exceptional, delivering a fan to the room for us and always asking how things were. A real credit to the resort. We used the babysitting service and had Francia. We have used her every time we come since both children were babies and she is an amazing amazing babysitter. She immediately got on with both children and our youngest is very shy and she was one of the only people he has ever got on with straight away. She is a credit to the resort and an amazing person and we will miss her! She sent lots of photos of both boys which was also extra reassurance. The resort was very clean and buggy’s came very quickly. The only minor point which was slightly frustrating was the temperature of the room. There seemed to be a problem in villa 29 and we did wake up most nights very hot, on one night having to put cold towels on our faces. Brian and Nuran did all they could for us though. I am a Jumeirah One member and will be back again for sure. From the pool attendants to the restaurant staff the customer service is second to none. Shimmers restaurant was amazing and the best meal we had and would highly recommend. A great resort thank you and see you soon. Read less

Having been visiting this resort and hotel for many years, it’s frustrating to see the small changes that have spoilt this hotel to a point it is no longer our favourite within the resort. We visit 1 - 2 a year and often stay on Jumeirah beach, sometimes DAM and sometime JBH. Things that have changed for the worse… - Drinks in the evening now 5pm - 7pm instead of the much preferred (by everyone!!!) 6pm - 8pm. Although this change is only minor it’s had a real impact on the holiday for everyone. The villa remains empty when 3-4 year ago you would have a great mix of people from all over the world to chat to. - Air con temp in the rooms - again noticed by all, the aircon now is limited to 18.5 - it used to be 16.5 when we first started holidaying here. Again this seems cool but when it’s 30 degrees through the night, the rooms do not get cold enough, so prepare for a bad nights sleep. - Butler service - it used to be 1 butler per villa, it’s now 1 butler to every 3-4 villas. The new butlers do not compare to butlers we’ve had over the years, all the good ones are promoted and moved behind the scenes. Some struggle with English. We had one night our butler was serving drinks in two villas which meant waiting to get served! - The main pool - a complete mess. Looks dated, damaged and missing tiles, people actually cutting their feet on them, ruined around 3 pairs of my swim shorts! - Buggy service - great once you manage to get one. It was half term and so the hotel was busy, but having to wait 20-30 minutes for a buggy is not good enough. Overall not over impressed with what used to be our favourite hotel by a million miles. We are returning in December but won’t be stopping at DAM. Such a shame! Read less
