“Great Stay”

Had a Great experience at the Sheraton although the property feels a little bit old, rooms comfortable but the staff was fantastic. I had lounge access which was great even though its quite small but it didnt seem overcrowded and you get a nice view from the top. First off a big mention to individual staff such as Jimee who brought our bags to the room and even went a walked down the round to flag us a taxi down the street since there was not many around this day such a lovely person and has been there years, done everything. Also a big mention to the cleaners Tharus I believe or Thavun sorry if I have your name spelt wrong, he was so accommodating with water tea etc as we didn't want our room cleaned as to help preserve the environment as had plenty of towels etc really friendly lovely person nothing too much trouble. Finally a big shout out to the Club Lounge staff inc Logie Michel as the food was lovely and we didn't need to eat out at all, as some hot food was available for the Hors d'oeuvres & drinks laid on in the evening which was nice surprise. Breakfast was good downstairs also with a variety of choice, and bigger if wanted. The Club Lounge tho went above and beyond as I wasn't expecting this particular thing as they had some section of cheeses and no biscuits and what I thought was a chutney was marmalade and a jam which being British found unusual. I had a discussion with the staff saying about this and what culture has this. Anyway unknown to my surprise the next day a chef and his assistance came up to me, at first me and my mate thought they was getting people to sample some food but it wasn't. The chef had made some onion chutney which was delicious on a plate with some crackers etc which I was blown away by as I was rather full I told the staff to save it and I will have it later in the evening but instead of giving me my left overs so to speak, they gave me a fresh dish of chutney and biscuits.... I was not expecting this at all and has never happened before so a big thank you to the staff and chef. Location of the Hotel is in a good location, near the beach and Blu waters within walking distance to bars and restaurants if needed being in Jeremiah Beach Resort. The pool had plenty of sun beds and trolleys although some need replacing as to being old and the building work didn't disturb as they are doing some grounds for a new grass area I assume. Room was nice etc as I said the staff make this place even though some spots need updating we had a great stay.

“Wonderful Experience.”

Me and my daughter spent under a week, at this beautifully maintained hotel. All staff were friendly and willing to help in anyway they possibly could. The hotel has a very relaxed feel to it. Which made our stay very comfortable. The private beach and surrounding pool areas where fantastic! The breakfast in the morning was delicious due to the variety that was on offer. Another added bonus which I totally didn't expect, was when staff serenaded me at breakfast, and also gave me a cake, because they knew it was my birthday, which they did for other holiday guests, who's birthday it was. Very nice touch by the hotel. The rooms where spacious and very up to date with the mods and cons. All in all a very enjoyable stay! I would like to thank everybody at the hotel, for a very pleasant stay, especially Mr Sharukh and his team. I would definitely go back to this hotel. On behalf of myself and daughter, Thank you so much for the memories!!!

“Sheraton JBR: Perfect for Families & Beach Lovers”

A wonderful family-friendly hotel right on the beach with spacious rooms, attentive staff, and plenty of dining options. Perfect for relaxing days by the pool or fun beach adventures with the kids! Stayed with a family of 7 and had an amazing time! We chose the All-Inclusive option, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The staff truly made the experience special, with their warm, attentive service throughout. Check-in & Room: Smooth check-in with a minor booking hiccup, but it was quickly resolved. The room was spacious, clean, and regularly restocked with water, shower gel, and other amenities. Dining: • Seafield Buffet had a wide variety for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While the selection was good, many hot dishes were cold, which I didn’t enjoy. However, the egg station, cold meats, and dosa were great. The chefs were fantastic — they offered to make Indian breakfast items like aloo paratha (which we enjoyed a few times) and even prepared meals for the baby in our group. • Black Goose (sports bar) had a set menu with lots to choose from. We loved the hot, tasty food, large portions, and great cocktails. Special thanks to Michael and his team, especially Payao, for the amazing service. • Peacock also offered a set menu — it was our favourite restaurant overall. The Chinese food was packed with flavour, and JoJo and his team delivered fantastic service. • Al Hadiqa served a set Lebanese menu and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive, but sitting outside became uncomfortable after a while despite the fans, just due to the heat. ☀️ We visited during a very hot time of year, so eating outdoors — especially at lunch — could be uncomfortable. If you’re visiting in cooler months, this likely won’t be an issue. Drinks: The all-inclusive drinks menu offered plenty of cocktails and spirits to choose from. Our main drinks were spirits with mixers, which suited us well. The pool bar served refreshing cocktails, perfect for the hot weather, and the friendly staff always made sure we were well looked after. Drinks are served at the bar areas, but guests are asked not to bring alcoholic drinks into the lobby. Even though we saw some guests drinking alcohol there, we were informed it’s not allowed. Pool & Beach: The main pool is large, and there’s a separate kids’ pool. Unfortunately, adults were often using the loungers by the kids’ pool, so we weren’t able to sit there with our niece — not really a hotel issue, just something we noticed. There were plenty of fun poolside activities, and we especially loved the lively pool party! At Azure Pool Bar, cocktails were excellent (thank you Vishwanath). We had snacks a couple of times, but lunch was too hot — the fans were often taken. It would be great if there was somewhere indoors to enjoy the pool menu. The poolside toilets were the one real letdown — only one, and not well maintained. The hotel has private beach access with sunloungers and lifeguards — a beautiful and clean space to unwind. Kids Care: Natasha was absolutely amazing — our niece adored her and loved the playroom. Bars: & More Bar was perfect for pre-dinner drinks — excellent cocktails and very friendly service. The gentleman who served us kindly gave me his name, but unfortunately, I’ve forgotten it. He was always a pleasure to chat with and quickly learned my favourite drink — a Hendrick’s gin and tonic with a slice of cucumber — making the experience feel personal and welcoming. Suggestions for Improvement: • It would be great to have more indoor or shaded dining options by the pool during hot weather, as outdoor lunch seating can get uncomfortable. • The poolside toilet facilities need better maintenance and more availability — having only one is not enough, especially for families. • Consider designating loungers by the kids’ pool for families with children to ensure they have a comfortable space. Special Thanks: Muela and Siyo at Seafield Phillip — best coffee in Dubai! — worked in both Seafield and Peacock and was always a pleasure to see Michael and Payao at Black Goose (sports bar) JoJo at Peacock Vishwanath (aka Vishu to me) at the pool bar — always smiling and made amazing cocktails, thank you! (Apologies if I’ve spelt your name wrong!) Vaishakh at the pool bar Natasha in Kids Care And the lovely bartender at & More — thank you all for looking after our family so well! Final Thoughts: Sheraton JBR is a warm and welcoming family hotel with lovely staff, great food options, and a beautiful beachside location. With a few small improvements, it could be even better — but overall, we had a fantastic, memorable stay and would happily return! !
