The hotel

A gem of a hotel, the spectacular Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has a wealth of amenities. Guests can enjoy a total of six swimming pools, including two exclusively for children (happily set in the shade!) and one solely for adults. The hotel's Italian restaurant Splendido is something of a local legend. Deluxe Rooms are located on floors 1-3 with pool or garden views, and either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 people. 

Half Board includes: breakfast and a 3-course meal for either lunch or dinner available at the following restaurants and bars:

Director or rooms called next day and offered alternative rooms, but we declined. why should we spend two house of our day to pack and unpack when those two rooms could have been allocated to us in the first place. F&B Luxury property in Dubai, a very competitive market and the Ritz lunch offering is: 1. Al a carte seafood/ meat restaurant 2. Pool bar these are the only two options, so youre pretty screwed if you are vegetarian and/or dont like seafood. we ate in the pool bar at 40 degrees, which was not pleasant, the rest of the time we went out and lost our HB deal. Told the F&B Director why thoughts, not sure he took them in and will implement my suggestions considering he was "in meetings" one day to meet me. Pool Dont leave your sun loungers for more than an hour or they will remove your belongings. we experience this when my wife and i went to the spa and returned hour and half later having spent £300. we were told we didnt inform the pool guys that we are going to the spa and hence lost our loungers. overall very disappointed despite being repeat guests, we certainly wont be returning and the Ritz falls way short of expectations on all fronts. oh an GM no where to be seen!
