Terrible Experience at Grand Hyatt Dubai – Treated with Disrespect and Aggression
I recently arrived at the Grand Hyatt Dubai with my young children, expecting a pleasant stay, but was shocked by the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from the front desk staff and hotel management.
The check-in process turned into a nightmare. A staff member named Mustafa Muir and another individual named Her Hamam were extremely rude and disrespectful. They spoke to me as if I were a burden, not a guest, and refused to check me in properly even though I had young kids with me.
Instead of offering help or solutions, they escalated the situation, threatened to send security to remove my children from the room, and literally told us to “go to another hotel.” Their tone and treatment were aggressive, inhumane, and entirely unprofessional. It felt like we were being thrown out of someone’s private house, not a 5-star hotel.
I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, and I’ve never encountered such hostility from hotel staff — especially at a hotel that claims to be luxury. This experience was beyond disappointing; it was traumatic.
If you are a family or value basic human respect, I strongly advise you to think twice before booking this hotel. Management clearly does not care about guest experience or hospitality.
