Superior Rooms are 32 square metres with city views, 1 king-size bed or two single beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Superior Studios are 32 square metres with city views or partial sea views and a fully-equipped kitchen, plus 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Premium Studios are located on the 16th-17th floors of the hotel with views of the city or partial sea views. Studios offer 36 square metres of living space including a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Premium Rooms are 38 square metres with city views, 1 king-size be and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old.

Executive Studios offer 48 square metres of living space, fully-equipped kitchen, balcony and 1 king-size bed, plus a pull-out sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old.

We chose Dukes the Palm for our stay due to the location, on the Palm, but easy access to get off to explore, having Nakheel Mall so close and for the swimming/beach access. The 2 swimming pools and the lazy river were a real plus!! We were really impressed with our suite, which was spacious, comfortable, quiet and benefited from 2 balconies with good views. It’s rare for me to sleep well in a hotel- but that was not the case here!!! We did notice the carpet, curtains and furniture were starting to look a little worn, but nothing that impacted our enjoyment. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. They work so hard and over long hours, often dealing with demanding guests and multiple requests, but they really are what makes the hotel and are a true asset! There were a couple of minor niggles, such as how busy it got at breakfast- if you weren’t eating early there was a huge queue to get in and then the buffet was hard to navigate due to the layout and sheer number of people. We also found options later in the day for a light bite a bit scant- with only the buffet or a full sit down meal being the options. The hotel has very recently been taken over by new owners and I hope they will invest in the outside space which is starting to look tired. The pool and lazy river have tiles missing and the walkways are in need of a lick of paint. That said, I don’t want to end the review on a negative as we had a great time and were sad to leave! It offered us great value and everything we wanted/needed and would all be happy to stay at The Dukes again. Read less

Overall was a good stay. Reception took a while to get checked in and was always busy. Breakfast was really good but just be warned not all warm drinks are included something they don’t tell you when you first check in. Lazy river and pool are so good. Deposit charged was to be refunded but after 5 days of checking out still not received.

A true 5 star...our stay was a delight and staff went above and beyond....the breakfast was excellent and beach was clean .

What a lovely hotel. Cleaners are amazing. Receptionists are lovely. Everything about the hotel is 💯. So many varieties for breakfast and dinner. I would visit again and again
