If I could give zero stars, I would. This "luxury" hotel showed an absolute lack of basic human decency and put a 1.5-year-old baby in danger during an international travel crisis. My wife, my 1.5-year-old child, and I were staying at Dukes The Palm when sudden airspace closures canceled our flights, leaving us completely stranded in Dubai. During this crisis, the UAE Government and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) issued strict emergency directives stating that hotels must assist stranded tourists and absolutely not evict them. Dukes The Palm blatantly ignored these government mandates. Our travel agency sent them emergency emails pleading for assistance on our behalf. Management completely ignored them. Instead of offering help or contacting the DET for relief as instructed by the government, the hotel management tried to extort us during a crisis by demanding an outrageous €370 per night to extend our stay. But here is the most unforgivable, shameful part: During the FINAL NIGHT of our ALREADY PAID stay, before our scheduled 12 PM checkout the next morning, the hotel forced my wife, my baby, and me to sleep in the hotel’s GARAGE. They denied us the safe accommodation we had legally paid for, forcing a family with a toddler into a concrete parking garage. We eventually had to leave the property entirely to find a cheaper Airbnb just so our child could sleep in a safe bed. Do not be fooled by the "Royal Hideaway" luxury branding. True hospitality is shown in how a hotel treats its guests during emergencies. This management team prioritized greed over the safety of a baby and violated Dubai consumer laws in the process. We have officially reported them to the Dubai DET for breach of contract and failure to comply with government emergency directives. Avoid this hotel at all costs. They have zero humanity.

Lovely hotel, very polite and professional staff especially Aamir was great with all inquiries. The receptionist Nana and Hnin were absulotely fantastic. The mall closer to hotel thats plus point and facility around were awesome. Highly recommend this place to all😘😘😘
