It was everything I was looking for in a relaxing summer holiday with my two children, absolutely perfect. The resort is situated on an island, so there isn’t a huge amount immediately outside the hotel, but that was exactly what I wanted. We could completely switch off, relax and enjoy everything the resort had to offer. For what we experienced, it was also really good value for money.
From the entrance to the exit, the entire resort was absolutely spotless, polished and beautifully maintained. The grounds and greenery were stunning, and everything just felt so clean and cared for. The views on both sides of the hotel were beautiful, with the beach side offering exceptional sunrises. The beach itself was incredibly clean and beautiful. As we visited in August, the sand was extremely hot during the day, but we had swim shoes which made it absolutely fine. In the evening, however, it was stunning to walk along the beach with our bare feet.
The facilities were exceptional. The infinity pool was beautiful, the children’s pools and slides were fantastic, and there was so much for the children to enjoy, including the children’s play area and plenty of activities and entertainment. The resort is absolutely enormous and feels almost never ending, with beautiful little areas to explore throughout. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had stunning views, and there were plenty of food options for everyone. It was genuinely a resort where we never felt bored or felt the need to leave.
The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, but Kamrul, the Bar Supervisor at the Bay Club, deserves a very special mention. He was absolutely exceptional and genuinely made our holiday more special. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, he made every meal feel personal and memorable. His attention to detail, warmth and genuine care were outstanding. He remembered us, anticipated what we needed and constantly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after. His customer service exceeded my expectations and he is a real credit to the Bay Club and the hotel. I sincerely hope his management team recognise just how exceptional he is, because Kamrul truly made a difference to our stay.
Overall, everything about this resort was exceptional. It was peaceful (no noise issues), beautiful, incredibly clean, family friendly and had everything we could have wanted for a summer holiday. I would highly recommend it to families and would absolutely return.
