“Excellent Double Tree Hilton Spa Marjan Island”

I’d like to start by thanking all staff at the Double Tree Hilton Spa Marjan Island for a fantastic holiday. I’d read some bad reviews before we booked it about food not good ,hotel not clean etc. We decided to book it anyway & see for ourselves. We are so pleased we did, the food in the buffet restaurant was good. plenty of choice. The Al a carte’s are amazing, especially Sanchaya. The hotel had all the facilities you would expect from a five star Dubai Hotel, the staff were all polite & courteous & nothing is too much trouble, The rooms were very clean, well stocked mini bar you even get a Kit Kat & tube of Pringles daily. The hotel was very clean the only place I think needs attention is pool area, always a lot of bottles & cigarette butts around first thing, but that is guests drinking and smoking in that area on a night. The tips I’d like to give the hotel would be more staff at all bars, better choice of ice lollies annd make anvilable ant anytime for kids not just a couple of hours. And for anybody going there’s plenty of sun beds for everyone but if you want a certain place yes you’ve got to get up for it. We tried all the restaurants all excellent, water sports & dune buggies & spa all for an extra cost but worth every penny. The beach was lovely & clean with plenty of sun beds & have never seen so many life guards. I’d like to say a thank you again for also making my husband’s birthday special for him. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday we booked through Destination2 definitely worth a look very good value for money.

“Lovely resort with excellent staff, though room allocation needs attention”

The hotel is large and well designed, with separate sections including an adults-only area, an infinity pool popular with families, and a lively zone behind the Anchor Bar with upbeat music and a great atmosphere. There’s also a kids’ area and a DJ on the beach opposite, plus floating play areas at sea that require adult supervision. We mostly stayed around the adult pool and Anchor Bar. However, the adults-only area has quite strict rules — no music is allowed, and even guests playing quietly were asked to turn it off, which took away from the relaxed holiday vibe. The all-inclusive package is generally good, but the choice of drinks is limited, with additional charges for well-known brands such as Jameson, Stella, and others. Check-in was disappointing, as rooms were not ready until well after 3 p.m. When we finally received them, our group was spread across different buildings and floors, and most rooms only had single beds. Given that we booked over a year in advance, this was frustrating. Although the beds were eventually sorted, it required quite a bit of persistence. To their credit, the staff were excellent throughout and did their best to make our stay enjoyable once everything was resolved. Overall, the resort offers plenty for families and a good range of facilities — with a few improvements, it could be outstanding.

Had a absolutely brilliant time at this hotel, our first time in Dubai flying from the UK, 12 of us in total. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived with some warm cookies. Staff were every friendly and the hotel was spotless, rooms were clean and tidy cleaners very friendly and there to help if needed. The restaurant staff were 5 star ⭐ absolutely brilliant and very friendly from the minute you walk in the restaurant 😁 booked some activities through some reps in the hotel which were brilliant and really friendly. Pool areas were good and clean and tidy bar staff at the pools very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would 100% come back in the future. We got a lovely leaving present from the restaurant staff on our last night 🥰
