Reception 7/10 - there was a bit of waiting because there was only one person available at the desk. I gave the rating as 7 because when I tried to ask where are the locations of pool, restaurant, etc he didnt tell me. He said somewhere along the lines that I wkll figure it out since my room is on the other side of the building. So then, I got no clue what time is the breakfast service, at which outlet, as well as the pool and beach operating hours. Which I find in other properties 3 or 4 or 5 stars properties as a standard check in procedure.
Breakfast 4/10 - so the following day, I have no clue where to go. I asked the kind security and he assisted me. First day of breakfast was disappointing. I understand that if the occupancy is low, there would not be a buffet. But even the made to order dishes are poor of quality and the temperature doesnt seem like it was freshly made at all. I tried to request for simple fruits like banana and also yogurt for my toddler, unfortunately they couldnt offer me one. So we really didnt enjoy that breakfast. And made plans to visit the hotel next door which serves absolutely fantastic breakfast spread. It is noted as well that the restaurant crew are not friendly, the host, the chef they would avoid making eye contact as if to avoid having to be asked something.
Amenities are 6/10 - I would have given a better rating except that the water heater for the kids pool are not working (that is according to the attendant) so that we werent able to enjoy that. The opening hours of the beach access and pool again depends on the peak time where most guests are coming in. We werent able to enjoy morning sun shades on our first few days because the access starts later in the day around 10.
Room service 2/10 - it would take several rings before the operator picks up a call. Again given the first night might be less occupancy but it takes a while to get a hold of anyone. And same goes for the rest of our stay which is 4 days. And like mentioned this isnt a standard for other 3/4/5 stars hotels that we've been through.
Housekeeping 8/10 - the housekeeping team are the only good thing. They are friendly, they are polite, they are fantastic at doing their job.
Overall 5/10 an ok experience but would not consider booking neither recommending in the future.
