I am currently sitting in the reception area for over 2 hours. My agent requested an early check, knowing I had landed in Dubai at 5am.
When I got to the hotel, it was dead. No staff to assist with luggage. Had to come in to come and call someone to help me.
Upon check - in I was told that I could have an early check in at an extra charge. When I refused as I paid all accomodation before arrival and told the lady my agent requested an early check in, she wanted proof which I did not have:
Spoke to the manager on morning shift after: he told me they do have a room that checked out early , however their staff only arrive at 9am to clean the room and I would have to wait until then.
At 9:30 I queried again about the room ( by this time the manager had left already) and another man on duty tells me check out is 12 pm and I should wait until 3 pm for the room!!! So many different stories.
So I continue to sit at the reception at radisson that has flies on the entrance couch and mosquitoes that are biting me. Have not slept at all as I was flying through the night, which I explained to them again: The guy named Ako at the reception says there’s nothing he can do, check in is 3pm .
I cannot understand the double standards and lies.
And please do double check what is included in the all inclusive option before booking . As the seafood shack is NOT part of the all inclusive. The bake house has a lot of goodies, but not everything is included. It seems to be limited. Highly disappointed and have not even checked in.
This is the first time I experience such a terrible service. I’ve been to Antalya, uae, and other parts of the world. Truly disappointed!
Hungry and tired !!!!! With a bad attitude from the guy at reception.
Have already taken my tourism tax payment, but have not given me a room !!
And now as I have told Ako I will write a review, 10 minutes later a room becomes available after 3 hours of sitting and struggling and falling asleep in the reception.
I get to my room- the basin has a cover over it, I lift the cover and the sink is filthy. So now I have to call housekeeping to clean it. Obviously the room was not used for a few days if it had a sink cover over it, which was confirmed by housekeeping ( not knowing the dilemma I’ve had the whole morning ) . Now I wait for housekeeping to clean the basin, still exhausted ! And the photo I uploaded was AFTER it was cleaned.
So in actual fact after knowing I was exhausted, I had not slept the entire night, and a room WAS in fact available , I received no empathy or hospitality from Radisson Ras Al khaimah. THEY LEFT ME TO SUFFER FOR 4 HOURS, and made me beg!!! Disgusted and disappointed that I booked the next 4 nights with you!!!
