This was our third stay at Address Beach Resort Fujairah, so we came with warm memories and certain expectations. Overall, we still enjoyed our time, but this visit showed noticeable changes compared to previous years — some very positive and some that definitely need improvement.
What could be improved
1. Sunbeds availability
This time the hotel was much busier, especially with many guests reserving sunbeds very early in the morning. Regardless of cultural habits, the number of sunbeds should match the number of guests so that everyone has a fair chance to enjoy the beach or pool, even if they don’t come down at sunrise.
2. Food variety
The variety at the restaurant was significantly lower than during our previous stays. For example, items like salmon and avocado were no longer available on the buffet and could only be served upon request — something we didn’t know at first. If a guest is not aware of this, they simply miss out. Previously, these items were always freely available.
3. Front office experience
Unfortunately, the welcome experience was disappointing. No welcome drinks were offered, and one of the front-desk staff members greeted us without warmth or hospitality. When I approached with an issue, this staff member showed no willingness to help and simply said there was nothing they could do. There was neither effort nor empathy.
Thankfully, after speaking with the manager, we were able to share our concerns.
4. Housekeeping quality
Housekeeping, compared to previous stays, has become less thorough. For example, an insect we killed on the fifth day remained on the floor until the end of our trip. Amenities such as conditioner were not replenished unless we specifically asked. There seems to be a lack of attention to detail and consistency in room cleaning.
5. Slow renovation of the adults’ pool
We appreciate that renovation work is happening — but the progress feels extremely slow. Many tiles are still loose or missing, and this has been ongoing for quite some time. For a 5-star resort, the pool area should look impeccable, especially when work is already underway.
What we absolutely loved
1. Stunning flower compositions in the lobby
One thing that truly adds to the atmosphere is the absolutely beautiful flower arrangements in the lobby. They are breathtaking and create a luxurious first impression every time you walk in. Please keep this tradition — it’s one of the details that makes the hotel feel special.
2. Exceptional staff — the heart of this hotel
Despite the issues above, the staff is the main reason we keep returning — and why we still left with positive emotions.

These people are truly exceptional. Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth make the atmosphere unforgettable. They treat us with such genuine care that it feels like coming home every time.
When we mentioned that the food selection felt limited, the chefs and restaurant team even prepared special dishes for us — something we deeply appreciate. Their attitude is the heart and soul of this resort.
Overall
Some service and operational aspects need attention, especially since this is a luxury hotel brand. But the wonderful staff and the warm atmosphere they create are the reasons we’ve kept returning — and the reason we would still love to come back again.
