A Wonderful Holiday – 5/5 Stars!
We had a truly wonderful holiday at this hotel! Spacious, bright and comfortable rooms, beautiful surroundings, breathtaking ocean views and, most importantly, some of the kindest people we have ever met.
What makes this place special is its staff. From receptionists and housekeepers to waiters, chefs and entertainers, everyone was incredibly welcoming, polite and always smiling. You can really feel the warmth and friendliness of the people here, and it makes a huge difference to the overall experience.
A special thank you to Thuta, who looked after our table most of the time. He was always attentive, cheerful and genuinely interested in making sure we had everything we needed. All our orders were brought promptly, and his warm attitude made every meal even more enjoyable. All the waiters deserve recognition for their hard work and kindness.
I would also love to mention the gentleman working in the perfume and sweets shop on the first floor. We bought some wonderful, long-lasting perfumes from him, and he left us with such a lovely impression. He always greeted us with the warmest smile, and whenever he saw us, he made time for my younger sister and treated us to little sweets. Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! These are exactly the little things that make you remember a place and want to return.
The housekeeping team deserves special recognition too. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and the towels were always fresh. What impressed us most was their consideration: sometimes we had just returned from the beach and asked them to come back in 15 minutes, and they always returned exactly when requested. Thank you for being so thoughtful!
The food was another highlight of our stay. Everything was delicious, and there was plenty of variety. The menu changed daily, with different themes such as build-your-own burgers, seafood evenings, funchose, pilaf and much more. It was lovely to have something different to look forward to every day. The chefs were also very attentive and sometimes personally visited our table to ask whether we enjoyed the food and if there was anything they could improve. Everything was prepared and served on time.
The entertainment team deserves a big thank you as well. The young lady organising the children’s activities and discos was absolutely lovely. It was clear that she genuinely loves working with children. She constantly tried to involve them, keep them entertained and make each child feel special. She took the time to speak to them individually, play with them and find ways to capture their attention. It was genuinely heartwarming to watch.
I would encourage the management to give her more resources and opportunities to develop the children’s entertainment programme. She clearly has the enthusiasm and dedication, but the children’s activities seem to have a rather limited budget. With more support, she could create something truly wonderful!
The Halloween horror room organised by the lifeguards was another fantastic experience. They put so much effort into the decorations and the atmosphere that it was genuinely scary! We paid for admission, and I can honestly say that I don’t regret a single penny. They made every penny worth it! They also offered sweets and face painting for the children afterwards. It was lovely to see how much effort they put into making the experience special.
However, I do think the Kids Club needs considerable improvement. Unfortunately, it currently looks rather neglected. Many of the toys are old, there aren’t enough activities or toys for children, and the whole area would benefit from proper renovation. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my younger sister there on her own because there simply wasn’t enough to keep her occupied.
The outdoor children’s water park was much more enjoyable for her, and she absolutely loved it! However, I would also recommend renovating and updating the area, including the water slides and equipment.
One particularly lovely thing was the lifeguard’s attitude. Even though my younger sister was the only child playing there at the time, he personally came over, switched on the water slides for her and stayed nearby to keep an eye on her. He made sure she could enjoy herself. This kind of individual attention is something truly special and perfectly reflects the kindness we experienced throughout the hotel.
A little information about the water activities: Outside the hotel, independent providers offer various attractions, including catamaran rides, inflatable tubes, banana boats and water vehicles. These services are not operated by the hotel itself.
We tried riding on an inflatable tube pulled by a speedboat, and it was a great experience! The gentleman driving the boat was extremely friendly and accommodating. We asked him to go faster and make the ride more exciting, and he happily listened to us. We had so much fun and really appreciated his attitude!
Unfortunately, our experience with one of the rented water vehicles was quite different. We tried to use it three times, but each time it either broke down or wouldn’t start. We did receive a refund, which was appreciated, but the experience was still disappointing. I would recommend being cautious when choosing this particular activity.
The ocean was undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights of our holiday. The water was wonderfully warm, clean and crystal clear. The views were simply breathtaking! The swimming pool was also excellent, with different depths ranging from 1.35 m to 1.80 m, making it enjoyable for swimming and diving with goggles. There is also a separate children’s pool, which is a lovely addition for families with younger children. Another great advantage is that the pool is cooled, which is especially refreshing on very hot days when the ocean feels too warm.
There are also several bars and convenient facilities throughout the property, so everything you need is easily accessible.
One small suggestion for management: please consider providing the waiters with serving trolleys. They work incredibly hard and often carry so many plates at once. It would make their jobs much easier and more comfortable. They really deserve a little extra help!
To sum up, we absolutely loved our stay. There are a few areas that could benefit from renovation and improvement, particularly the Kids Club and children’s facilities, but the warmth and dedication of the staff made our holiday truly special.
It is rare to come across so many genuinely kind people in one place. The friendly receptionists, hardworking waiters, thoughtful housekeepers, lovely entertainers and even the shop assistant who remembered our little sister all contributed to such a wonderful atmosphere.
I would happily return to this hotel for its beautiful ocean, breathtaking views, delicious food and, above all, its people. Sometimes it is the people who make a holiday unforgettable, and this hotel is a perfect example of that.
