His genuine hospitality, friendly nature, and dedication to ensuring guests have a memorable experience really stood out. It’s rare to come across someone who combines efficiency with such warmth and care. Mobeen is a true credit to the Waldorf Astoria team, and thanks to him, our visit was even more special. As a family of four, we stayed for nine nights at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah. The area is very much up and coming and reminded us of Dubai approximately 20 years ago. You can enjoy the hospitality that the UAE has refined and become famous for, without the congestion of major Emirates like Dubai, for a few years at least. Most of the development is happening at the nearby Marjan Island, but that shouldn’t put you off. The hotel is grand, with huge rooms and excellent amenities. The vibe at the hotel is luxurious without being pretentious. The staff are a polished and attentive team that make their guests feel extremely comfortable. We had a half-board package (two rooms) and enjoyed the daily breakfast and themed dinner buffets. The food is high standard and although not the biggest selection, it’s a case of quality over quantity. The fact soft drinks including mocktails are included makes it excellent value. The gym feels almost brand new and is spotless. The pool and beach area is spacious and the pool hosts go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable with choice of sunbeds or cabanas. We had lunch outdoors on many occasions, the food was reasonably priced and always high quality. On arrival, we wondered if we had booked for too long, by the end of our trip, we wished we had a further ten nights. Thank you to the entire team for their hospitality, we would like to give a special mention to RJ, Moumen, Min, Luben, Alvin and chef Sandeep for consistently going the extra mile. Read less
