We got one of their remodeled rooms and it was beautiful but I do miss the wonderful bathtub. They had it beautifully decorated for Christmas. The room service was so fast I didn’t know who could be knocking on the door. It was as clean and comfortable.

Fantastic guest experience at the JW Marriott Star Pass! Make sure you ask for an updated room as they are going thru an extensive renovation. Room was awesome overlooking the lazy river. Staff and accommodations are great! Highly recommend!

“Nice Resort, But Horribly Overpriced”

Nice resort presently undergoing a major "refreshment," but, and it's a big BUT, horribly overpriced ... ripoff levels of overpricing. As usual, there are the very expensive base room charges, PLUS huge "resort fees" that are hidden to the extent possible, but it doesn't stop there. There are extra charges for many seating options around the pools, often in the hundreds of dollars a day, and tonight we were charged $24 for basic and tiny Old Fashioned, $24 when a fine restaurant would charge maybe $15 for a much more generous version. So ... go if you don't care what it costs, but beware of you are at all price sensitive.
