Bang on trend, this hotel’s industrial-meets-chic styling is completely in keeping with its neighbourhood, the fast-flourishing Seaport district. Its spot in this trendy borough’s pretty enviable too, just across the road from its coolest hangout space, Lawn on D, which hosts food trucks, live events, and free yard games and WiFi. Inside the hotel there's plenty to offer too, a suitably contemporary indoor pool space, live entertainment at D's Keys Dueling Piano Bar or W XYZ Bar, and 24-hour dining and fitness - ideal whatever time you return from exploring Boston’s most famous attractions. From the Freedom Trail to the shopping around Faneuil Hall, the city’s biggest draws are all within a couple of miles.

Great Staff, But Room Quality Missed the Mark

Unfortunately, the room itself was a major letdown. The beds were awful—just thin foam pads that were literally falling apart, not even proper mattresses. It made for a hot, uncomfortable, and restless night. On top of that, the hotel doesn’t have central heating or AC. Instead, each room has its own outdated unit, which was incredibly loud—like sleeping next to a jet engine.
Additional issues:
• The shower leaked, leaving water all over the bathroom floor.
• There were visible stains on the walls, which made the room feel unclean and poorly maintained.
• Overall, the room lacked the quality and cleanliness I expect from a major hotel brand.
To their credit, the team did try to make it right after checkout by offering points, but unfortunately, the poor sleep quality and condition of the room were hard to ignore.
The hotel itself is large and has all the expected amenities, but none of that matters if you can’t get a good night’s rest. I suggest doing your due diligence before booking. Sadly, I wouldn’t stay here again—but I truly appreciate the great team working here.

Great hotel for night before cruise

All of the staff were amazing, especially the lovely lady who checked us in on the evening of July 18, the waiter in the outdoor patio section of the Brazilian restaurant, and the lovely woman, named Taz, who helped us as we were checking out on July 19. After borrowing her stapler to tag our luggage for our cruise, I mistakenly left my iPad on her counter and walked out to find our Uber. Taz tracked me down to return my iPad. I was so grateful that she took the time and effort to find me.
Other helpful staff were Emmanuel and Hosea.
Our room was well-equipped, efficient, clean and quiet. The hotel was ideally located between the Boston airport and the cruise port, making it very convenient for our overnight stay prior to our cruise. It would have been nice if there were a cruise port shuttle.
