Reinterpreted for the 21st century traveller with a $100 million mega-makeover, it now adds contemporary décor and mod-cons to its timeless elegance. And you’re in good company, with all bar two US Presidents staying here since it opened. It’s easy to see why, with a top-drawer location near Boston Common. Of course, they wouldn’t all have experienced today’s attractions, which include a mammoth 20,000 SF Health Club, the nightly cocktail hour (well 5 hours) in the Library, and the New England inspired dining of its Off the Common restaurant, with Boston’s signature lobster rolls a menu favourite.

“Boston Trip”

From the doorman to the bell hop, front desk and attendant everyone has been wonderful and it’s refreshing to see employees with smiles. Rahali was very quick delivering what I needed and also very personable. I think it was Charles who helped me with my luggage and oriented me to where everything was.

Our son got married September 13, 2025 and we had to have rooms blocked. Stephanie Sheng, Sales Manger, at Boston Copley Park Plaza , went above and beyond to make sure all the rooms were ready in time for us to check in early, due to the rehearsal being the same time as check in, and all the bridal party was able to check in early to get to the rehearsal on time and she followed up with us all weekend! Thank you Stephanie!!

Room was very old and outdated. There were crumbs all over the table above the refrigerator and we never ate in the room. All of the staff were friendly. Great location!
