My friend and I were in town for the weekend to spend time with other friends and chose the Boston Park Plaza. We had two meals at Off the Common with and had fantastic experience.
We ate dinner one night and really enjoyed our meal. More importantly, while eating, a gentleman wandered in who appeared unhoused seeking a shelter. The restaurant manager, Trina, MADE time to talk with him, understanding what he needed (it was 25 degrees out), and proceeded to direct him to several shelters she thought would be able to help him.
The next morning, we grabbed breakfast before our departure. My friend has severe allergies to dairy and gluten. As we were eating, a significant amount of cream spilled on our table. Our servers quickly cleaned much of the spilled. A short while later, as our plates were being removed, we discovered remnants of the cream under my friends plate. After removing the plate and cleaning the spill, our server returned to say the meal would be complimentary 🤯! It was just a spill and while we had zero expectation for compensation, it was a very nice and appreciated gesture.
All the service was great, from valet to housekeeping. This was my second stay in six months and I will be back!
