The hotel

A contemporary urban hideaway, the Hyatt Regency Boston not only offers ultra comfortable accommodation; it’s wonderfully located, too. Just steps away from all major city attractions, you really are in the heart of it all. A veritable home-from-home, the atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, offering a welcome respite from all that sightseeing. There are plenty of restaurants surrounding you but the hotel’s Avenue One is one of the finest in Boston, utilising locally sourced ingredients to create a range of new and innovative dishes. Great location , average hotel experience. On an east coast US holiday , the Hyatt was our First stop. Hotel itself is perfectly positioned. Easy access around the cit , to the park and sites.. Room itself was large ,if a little tired. Facilities were basic in the room. Found the staff in the main were ok and helpful

Location, Location, Location. The Hyatt Regency is within easy walking distance of the heart of downtown Boston and within blocks of the Hop On Hop Off. We experienced a great personalized hotel staff and quiet rooms. Plenty of restaurants are nearby, and a fully stocked CVS is half a block away.

Staff polite but not overly friendly, with the exception of Barry in the bar - lovely guy, and the lady who makes the omelette - breath of fresh air. You pay a daily resort fee which they tell you includes a whole list of "perks". One of the perks was 10% off at Macys next door. Macys said this is not so. Apparently you get a fridge magnet souvenir on check out. Nope. Just checked my emailed bill and notice they've charged me for a movie I never watched. Only small things but it's the little things that matter. Shame. Read less
