It has fantastic staff and a cold water station in the lobby. It's also in a great neighborhood near restaurants, shopping, and the historical walk thru Boston. It's also close to Chinatown, a great option for DoorDashing your dinner when you are tired. It's near three T stops, in case you want to visit colleges, and many of the concierge staff have kids in the top Boston area colleges, and can advise you on your college tours with directions and been-there-done-that advice. We had significant issues with the request for connecting rooms which the hotel claimed on check in to have no note of- our travel agent phoned a few days before to check this after issues at our NYC hotel / they were told the request was on booking. Positives were a super shower and toiletries. Other negatives were the lack of anywhere to sit and dry hair and put on make up with a mirror. Also on coffee making we had to buy milk locally to go in fridge - otherwise there was a powder creamer which tasted terrible but using it also involved throwing away three sweeteners and a:sugar that were packaged with each creamer. No free water either. I would be unlikely to recommend this hotel. Read less

Great location and overall, a very nice hotel. It's within walking distance of numerous attractions, including the Freedom Trail and unique neighborhoods with many restaurants and shopping options. We only ate breakfast at the restaurant at the hotel, which offered a buffet including an omelet station. Good food and the service was great. My only complaint would be no room upgrade for being a Globalist member, and the room we got needs an update. A lot of worn-down furniture, and the shower was very dated. The beds were comfortable, and it was overall very clean, so it worked for a place to lay down at night. I would rank the room itself on the lower end of other Hyatt Regency's I have stayed at. Everything else, including location and service was very good. I would stay here again and see if they had a more updated room to offer. Shout out to the concierge, Anthony. He was such a big help navigating the area. Read less

The hotel was in a great location for walking to all the sights we wanted to see. We felt very safe. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room was nice. The shower didn't have great water pressure, and the pillows were super-flat but not a deal breaker. The bathroom had amazing lighting that made us look 10 years younger! Bonus points for that,… Read more

We really enjoyed our short stay there. We did not go to the restaurant or bar so I can't comment on that. The front desk staff and the concierge were very friendly and helpful. Read less
