The hotel

A contemporary urban hideaway, the Hyatt Regency Boston not only offers ultra comfortable accommodation; it’s wonderfully located, too. Just steps away from all major city attractions, you really are in the heart of it all. A veritable home-from-home, the atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, offering a welcome respite from all that sightseeing. There are plenty of restaurants surrounding you but the hotel’s Avenue One is one of the finest in Boston, utilising locally sourced ingredients to create a range of new and innovative dishes. Their handcrafted cocktails are also recommended, kick-back with a martini or a mojito and look forward to the evening ahead.

Hotel is in a prime location near the freedom trail and Boston Commons. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is well appointed and maintained, albeit beginning to show age. Elevators were loud and shook. Rooms were nice and well appointed.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times on business trips to Boston. It’s a nice clean hotel walking distance to the city center and they have good ice coffee at the bar in the morning. That’s really all I need when I’m on a business trip. Clean and good coffee ;)
