Liam made us feel like we were his top priority, and extra special. The Moxy’s close proximity to Boston Common snd Newbury St shops made our stay truly magical. And we enjoyed an historic walk to Bunker Hill Monument to take in sone of Boston’s most iconic destinations. We skirted The North End in our walk and had some of the best italian food I’ve. ever had. A solid 10/10 experience and we’ll definitely return to the Moxy Boston Downton! Read less

This hotel is in a pretty good location, right on the southwest corner of the commons. The place is new, tidy, and clean. It is the smallest room I've ever checked into, including NYC. There are no surfaces to put anything down. The AC seemed to be adjustable but the room never really cooled down enough to sleep well. Speaking of sleep, I… Read more

There are no surfaces to put anything down. The AC seemed to be adjustable but the room never really cooled down enough to sleep well. Speaking of sleep, I should've taken the free earplugs in the room as a warning. The street noise was unreal! almost comical. All night long screaming and motors racing, cop cars sirens blazing, and then the bars emptied at 2am and everything got that much worse. We got up around 5am as it was such a bad night got in our car and drove out of the quiet city. One and done. Read less

I had to unexpectedly extend my stay at the Moxy Boston Downtown due to a medical emergency, and I can’t thank Mario and Liam enough for their kindness and support. They were incredibly understanding, accommodating, and truly went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible during a very stressful time. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and in a great location — but what really stood out was the genuine care and professionalism of the staff. Mario and Liam made a difficult situation so much easier, and I’m genuinely grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for going above and beyond! Read less

I was a bit nervous booking because of the low rating but assumed Moxy’s smaller rooms and unique style may have turned people off—none of which bother me. What was a disaster though was the air conditioning unit clattering all night long. I’ve heard a rattle before but this was way load inconsistent and unfortunately at the head of the bed (in a small concrete room). When I called down at 1:30 I basically was told to go to the front desk in the morning and use the(useless) ear plugs they had left on the night stand. So after two hours sleep I headed down the next morning and was assured that if it wasn’t able to fixed I’d be called and moved since I was out for business all day. When I arrived at 9:30, after no phone call, I found the unit still making the same noise. When maintenance came they basically said there wasn’t anything they could do and since the hotel was sold out I had another night of little to no sleep. In all my interactions I got the sense this is not a unique issue so if you’re getting a hotel room to sleep I’d steer clear of this place. Read less

The hotel is beautiful - love the theme and decor. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly, the TV in my room never worked. And I wish they would have been up front about the bottled water provided in the room. While I've been provided free bottled water as a Titanium Elite member, I was charged for it several days later. Be careful… Read more
