In the thriving Seaport District, this feature-packed hotel’s just steps from one of neighbourhood’s biggest draws, The Lawn on D. The outside comes indoors at The Westin Boston Seaport District too, with its lobby greeting you with natural stone and wood, a vertical garden, and leafy trees. Delve deeper and you’ll find 3 bars and restaurants, each sharing its own take on all-American dining: there’s the contemporary slant at Sauciety, the Irish-American pub twist at MJ O’Connor’s, American grill favourites at Birch Bar, plus a full-service Starbucks for your caffeine fix. When you’ve had your fill of the food, the Westin’s Laugh Boston comedy club presents local and national acts.

Our server Kenny provided an excellent experience. He was extremely helpful and very pleasant. It made our lunch at the Westin restaurant quite enjoyable. The food was very good and the atmosphere was quiet which allowed us to have a good chat.
Great location

Great hotel in good location. My room was very clean and the AC worked well.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Linda.
The breakfast was full of many options and there’s a Starbucks inside the hotel too.
I look forward to coming back soon.

We had excellent accommodations.
The breakfasts we enjoyed were beautifully presented and very, very delicious (5 stars for the corned beef hash & eggs!). What made it truly memorable is the manner we were served by Kenny (2x) especially and Keyon (1x) - friendly, welcoming, efficient, EXPERT!
Paying for the Location more than anything

Nice enough hotel but clearly showing some age and challenges. Definitely pros and cons.
First the cons... 1) while the room furnishings are somewhat modern, the rooms themselves are very small and limiting in what can be done. The beds were full size and barely fit in the room so queen size would be out of the question. Having said that, full size beds should be outlawed in hotels as there is simply not enough room for two adults to sleep comfortably. 2) The bathroom was small and contained a full bathtub, something I have not seen in a hotel, especially an upscale business hotel, in a very long time. Since the bath was so old, the shower utilized a poor makeshift rain/handheld showerhead unit that did not work well for me. 3) Ice machines were modern with water dispensers but did not work very well. Had to go to many floors or ask front desk for ice. 4) The Starbucks in the lobby did not open until 6:30 AM, which is way too late for a business hotel. My little hometown Starbucks opens at 5 AM. And, the service was awful. Out of many., many items the entire week. Drinks prepared wrong just about everyday. Not good. 5) However, the biggest issue I had was trying to find a place to work in the public spaces. There was literally one, and only one space in all the public areas that was quiet, had a chair, a table and access to power. This is at a true business hotel hosting many conferences and next door to the Boston Convention Center hosting a massive conference. The Elite desk associate even made light of the situation by pointing out all the electrical outlets on the ceiling yet there are none for the guests to use.
Now the pros... 1) The location. Great location right next to the Convention Center in the Seaport District. So easy attend conferences, walk around and sightsee, find great restaurants, and more. This is a great area in Boston and this hotel is located well to take advantage. 2) The associates were very pleasant and always willing to assist. 3) Good fast elevators that did not have you waiting ever for a lift. 4) Some decent on property dining options.
Overall, given the price they charge for this premium business hotel, it's probably not worth what you get at all; but the prime location is really what they are selling.
