Always solid. Central and clean and updated rooms. Didn’t eat. Only quibble was a silly $20 destination charge which is repaid at end of visit. Staff friendly and efficient

“Overcharged payment, unnecessary fees, and bad customer services”

Terrible experience. Be aware of overcharged and unnecessary fees! The hotel kept part of my deposit even after I paid my full bill at checkout, and I have now been waiting over a month for the refund. To this day, I still have not received my money, they double-charged my stay! I was told to contact the accounting team, but they never answer calls, and my complaint submitted through their system has shown no progress whatsoever. The communication has been unbelievably slow, and no one seems willing to take responsibility or resolve their own mistake. This is completely unacceptable for a Marriott property.

“Can't beat the location + privacy combo”

This is where TripAdv can mislead you because I have stayed at a few of the hotels in the Top 10 including the Dagny and Godfrey and the Westin Copley Sq is just better. The location is prime and the best part is that you don't even have to put up with the weather to access Copley Pl and Prudential Malls. It is also more private and sees less traffic than the other hotels with mall access. Friendly and courteous service. The room was great. Great views. Great shower. The audio on the TVs failed but fortunately watching TV was not in my priority list. The gym is better than most hotels out there with almost all the props and equipment you would need for a quick workout. Lively bar on the 2nd lvl, two lobbies, better-than-average breakfast. Overall a great experience and a clear step up from the Marriott Copley Pl and the Courtyard Copley Pl (yes, I have stayed at both). Certainly much better than both the Hilton or Sheraton at Prudential mall. If I were to come back to Boston during Winter, this would be my pick.
