The hotel

Huntington Beach is famous for it’s surf beaches and the iconic pier – and you couldn’t be closer to both of these when staying at the Pasea Hotel and Spa. Just cross the road from the lobby and your toes will touch the sand, where you can enjoy a spot of volleyball, surfing the waves, or simply lying on your lounger in the glorious Californian sun. The hotel offer beach cruisers for you to travel up and down the promenade, which means you can reach the pier in no time where you can enjoy a burger at Bud and Genes with views back along the shore. When you’re not out exploring the area, Aarna Spa at the hotel will allow you to get lost in the blue. Book a signature facial and you’ll feel that holiday glow on another level! The oceanfront pool is also a top spot to spend your day, where you can drink in the oceanfront views with a selection of Cali inspired drinks from the poolside bar. Come sunset, head to the stylish Treehouse for a sundowner with panoramic views, before you dance your night away as some of the areas best DJ’s take to the decks. After a fun night, you’ll wake up to views of the glittering sea, as all the rooms here have at least partial ocean views from your balcony, complementing the soothing coastal hues of the rooms themselves.

250 guestrooms decorated with a coastal vibe, all with private balcony, air conditioning, WiFi access, Aarna Spa bath products, bathrobes, flip flops, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, safe, Keurig® machine with Peerless Coffee and Tea®, utility LED clock with USB power ports, and 48” Smart LED web TV.

Partial Ocean View Rooms feature limited coastal views, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Ocean View Rooms are located on the north and south sides of the resort, offering views of the Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Oceanfront Guest Rooms feature unobstructed, 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Tanner’s Restaurant (contemporary coastal cuisine with ocean views from indoor and outdoor seating, open for all day dining, with daily happy hour). Treehouse Lounge (rooftop bar serving SoCal inspired drinks and light bites, with regular live DJ’s and daily happy hour). Blend Café (serving hot and cold drinks, fresh pastries and paninis, and a range of grab and go items, throughout the day). Ninth Island Pool Bar (serving poolside bites and cocktails until sunset). 

Live poolside DJ set every Saturday and Sunday from midday – 6.00pm.

Fabulous vacation at the Pasea last week. The location and view are spectacular and the ENTIRE staff is professional, friendly and service oriented. From check-in with Jessica, who made the process quick and efficient, and provided us with valuable recon for our 5 day stay, everything about this hotel was special. The pool is beautiful, with ocean views. The pool staff led by superstar Marjorie was terrific with Lauren and Sam especially providing brisk service. The drinks and food were very good. The restaurant, Lorea, which we frequented visited multiple times a day was awesome. Chef Scott has created terrific menus and the food was fantastic. The outstanding service of Sam, Ruben and Annika only made our Lorea experience even better. After dinner spot upstairs, The Treehouse, offers creative cocktails and a cool scene. The head of security Andre was extremely helpful always at the ready to assist my wife with accessing the elevator. Plus he offered great insight into both the hotel and the galleria literally right next door. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the neighboring galleria, but The Brant stood out for its service, vibe and food, especially the French Dip! Read less

My room had an amazing view of the sunset and pier, with modern amenities and furniture that elevated my stay to another level. I loved the pool experience they offer that had a great view of the ocean and incredible poolside service from Sam, KC, and Nicole! You can also get shuttle service to the beach during the summer which is such a great perk. During checkout Jess at the front desk made sure my stay was everything I had hoped for, I truly felt like she cared. This hotel is visually stunning and has a staff that went above and beyond for me. I can not wait to return! Read less
