“Relaxing stay beyond expectations”

Our family had an exceptional stay at the Hyatt Centric Long Beach, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and their hospitality remained consistent throughout our visit. I want to give special recognition to Niza Arellano Garcia, who went above and beyond to help make our child’s birthday truly unforgettable. She took the time to add thoughtful, personal touches that made our child feel incredibly special. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care turned what would have been a wonderful stay into a lasting family memory. Employees like Niza are a true credit to the Hyatt brand. The food and beverage team also deserves high praise. Every interaction was warm, friendly, and professional. The staff consistently provided attentive service with smiles, making breakfast and other dining experiences something we looked forward to each day. It’s clear they take pride in delivering excellent guest service. The hotel’s location is another huge advantage. It’s perfectly situated within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and the beautiful waterfront. We especially appreciated how convenient it was to visit the Queen Mary. Everything we wanted to experience in Long Beach was just minutes away. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and comfortable, providing a relaxing place to return to after a day of exploring. Combined with the outstanding customer service and unbeatable location, it made for an incredible family getaway. Thank you to Niza Arellano Garcia and the entire Hyatt Centric Long Beach team for making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to families, couples, and anyone visiting Long Beach who is looking for exceptional service, a fantastic location, and a staff that truly cares about its guests.

“Worst experience!”

I had a very disappointing experience at the Hyatt Centric. When I brought up concerns about my stay, the general manager asked me to step into a back room to discuss them in a creepy environment. I felt uncomfortable being taken away from the front desk, and the conversation left me feeling pressured rather than heard. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, I felt that my questions were dismissed and that the explanations I received were inconsistent. From my perspective, the interaction came across as manipulative, and it left me with little confidence that my concerns were being handled honestly or respectfully from the general manager J - o - r -g -e. To make matters worse, I was charged additional fees that I do not believe I should have been responsible for. Despite trying to resolve the issue, the customer service I received was poor, and I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I expect transparency, professionalism, and respectful communication when issues arise, especially from hotel management. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I would not choose to stay at this property again.

“Great stay, great location”

Large room, large bathroom, great shower, Great breakfast and coffee downstairs, walk right out the door to shopping and movies. We walked across the street to restaurants, outdoor music and people enjoying the pier. We were here one day. Off to a carnival cruise the next day. Short uber to the Carnival port.
