We go to Anaheim relatively frequently, because of our love for Disney, and in complete honesty, historically, I have preferred the hotels slightly closer to the park, or directly across from the entrance… However, this time, they were booked up for the second week of December, so we tried Sheraton, a higher up in quality hotel, and now we plan on doing that every time in the future. It’s still only a 10 minute walk to the park entrance, so that’s definitely not a dealbreaker, but it is worth it because of how awesome all of the people and employees are there! The hotel itself is great, a beautiful pool, nice, high-quality rooms, and a great bar, but the customer service and people were over the top perfect!!! Floretta in the restaurant was amazing, Caesar in the club, as well as Victor and Victoria serving us breakfast in the club every morning, even though we always came 5 minutes before they closed up breakfast, they always make sure my wife, toddler, and I all had full plates and were happy before they started finishing up. Coelo and Stan at the front desk we’re always ridiculously friendly each and every day we chatted with them… I don’t usually remember everyone’s names, but all of these employees were such great “people persons” that it was difficult not to…. And difficult to remember this more than two weeks after we’ve gotten home! All of these employees were great, but my personal favorite is experience was on the date that we checked in, the elevator was unfortunately down while we brought in our luggage, toddler, stroller, and car seat… Ricardo offered to help is bring all of our luggage up with us, even after he learned we were on the top (14th) floor! I kept telling him that he did not have to worry about that, but there was plenty other things he could be doing, but he insisted on continuing to help during an exhausting experience, making it clear that for every future trip we come to Disneyland, we want to go nowhere else besides Sheraton.
