This hotel is in a great location for accessing both Hollywood and Sunset Blvds. If you wish to explore further, than the Metro line and buses are close on hand. Other positives for the Grande are it's cleanliness, friendly welcoming and helpful reception staff, nice bar areas and a great rooftop pool. And the Hollywood sign can be seen from the rooftop also. The room we had on the fourth floor was of good size with a nice bed. Our cleaner, Kenya, made up the room everyday to a good standard. Now the drawbacks. First the safe wouldn't lock so we had to have a new one installed. There was no iron and no fridge. But worse was we had to keep the curtains shut because of the way the hotel is built as a square with a open area in the middle, all inside rooms can look into each other when lit up. There is also a club next door which is active at night. I actually had to buy earplugs to get some sleep but my wife wasn't disturbed by it at all. Overall a good stay but just came up short of 5 star
