On very first day, amenities in my room are left-over from previous guess. Lotion bottle is used. Q-tip package is opened and housekeeper never replace. On 3rd day of my stay, I was taking a shower and have to step out for 1 hour because house-keeping forgot to refill my shower-gel bottle. When called in, they show up with an attitude like shoving the bottle to me like it is my fault that they shower-gel bottle is empty while I just stay here for 2 nights. They clearly did not refill the amenities when I check in and make me look like a clown. They come in and left my bathroom full of foot print from dirty shoe and tell me it is fixed. Call someone in to clean my room. Take forever to arrived. Again show up with angry face ! clean up the dirty shoe print them stomp out. On 4th day of my stay, the bath robe is dirtied. They say they took it out to clean. Never put back a new one. Gotta call to have them bring in new one. Why I bother ? because I don't want to be charged when I check out and they see a bath robe missing in my room. Overall very irresponsible house keeping. No respect to guest. Act like it is the guest fault. I only request my room to have the amenities promised by the hotel. Not my fault when someone from hotel forgot to refill my shower gel bottle when I check in. I am a guest at the hotel not their manager. I am not responsible to check their work to make sure they get everything correct. But, I always have to do it every day I stay. Have to remind them hey u forgot to refill my bar soap, forgot my cotton ball, forgot my paper cup, forgot this and that. I am there to rest not to be their manager. The housekeeping department have to take responsibility of their fault and address it promptly not showing attitude when guest tell them that they did something wrong. Read less

This is an excellent hotel. I stayed for three nights, whilst on a business trip in the Long Beach area. Check in was done in advance, via an emailed link. Therefore, check-in at the hotel was a seamless and quick affair. My room was ready for me by 3.00pm, instead of the advertised 4.00pm and I was safely tucked up in my room within minutes of my arrival. Staff at the front desk were super polite and professional. The room on the 4th floor was everything you could want from a hotel room. Immaculately clean, spacious, a nice coffee machine in the room, with a selection of pods. A large TV, an apple iPhone MagSafe charger on the desk next to the bed, copious amounts of USB and plug sockets within easy reach of the bed. The bathroom was immaculately clean, with a large walk-in shower, with good temperature and pressure. A nice selection of toiletries were also present in the room. The air conditioner was a little noisy when it kicked it, but was easy enough to turn on and off. The bed was large, immaculately clean and comfortable and a good night's sleep each night ensued. The small cafe bar in reception was a good place to grab a bite for breakfast, with a nice selection of pastries, coffee options, fruit bowls and other things to purchase. Prices were reasonable and service good. Every staff member I encountered was polite, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. The area of the hotel is good, with lots of restaurants close by, nestled in amongst the shops and restaurants of The Pike. Very happy with the stay, the pricing was reasonable and the room was exceptional for a short stay. Will be back next time I'm in the area. Read less

My stay was disappointing from the start. The initial room wasn't as expected, and the alternative ADA room was worn. Service was slow; room service requests took multiple tries, and a broken shower handle was never fixed despite being reported. The café had forgetful staff, overpriced, poor-quality coffee, and there was no complimentary parking.… Read more

Rooms are nice, roomy. Liked the smaller property in the middle of shops, restaurants, aquarium and Long beach convention center. All walkable. Single older lady felt very comfortable walking between convention center, shops, restaurants i evening. Don't miss the aquarium of the pacific... world class!
