Image of the Tripadvisor rating Overall very good but with some small but irritating housekeeping issues. Great views and superb location. Good value

Great location, very friendly staff and nice rooms (although can be on the small side). Replacement of room amenities needs a bit of work as we kept having to ask for them to be replaced. Great views. Ground floor marina rooms are noisy so best avoided.

Expected a good hotel but we were all disappointed with lots of things. Rooms appeared fine but not what expected. No complimentary water. Booked dinner for 8 at 7.30 but restaurant not very welcoming. Service very poor and had feeling we were not welcome. After we were eventually seated we ordered from poor menu. I had pasta bolognese as did one more but it was a solid mass of pasta and almost inedible. I had only a couple of fork fulls. The whole experience was terrible for all of us. When I went to my room I pulled back the duvet to find the bottom sheet had not been changed. It was late so I slept on top of sheets and complained the following morning. I was offered $50 refund. The following morning two of us went for breakfast at the onsite restaurant and was told “we don’t take walk ins” We said we were guests at the hotel but after a lot of discussion we were offered breakfast in the hotel bar. The second night we went to a local restaurant and when we returned before 9 pm we went to the bar to find I closed! The only drinks available were self service pumps available at $2 per 100 ml. Hardly an upmarket bar!! The following morning three of us went for breakfast. One of us asked for 2 poached eggs and 2 boiled eggs in a bowl arrived. They were then asked again for poached eggs and they arrived in a small bowl. No plate! Apart from all this the pool was closed for maintenance with no advanced warning. All in all this hotel was a great disappointment. This could be a lovely hotel if organised professionally. Read less

Perfect and serene location for Beachlife festival or just to come enjoy the beach for a few days. Views of the jetty, boats, paddle boarders, kayakers, seals, pelicans, sunsets. We all slept wonderfully on the comfy beds. Definitely will stay again!

The location is amazing , adjacent to the Marina and harbour where the California sea lions bask on a jetty around April time . The marina has a number of nice sea food restaurants and the dockside has a few good bars and fresh sea food to purchase
