But perhaps the real wow factor at the hotel is The Penthouse restaurant and lounge, where both locals and guests come up to the rooftop to watch the sunset over the Ocean. With signature cocktails (and happy hour too), and bar food like cured meats and tacos, this one is definitely worth a visit.

the Huntley is a small boutique hotel. Our checkin was amazing by Jacob the Asst. General Mgr. We had 2 large rooms with great view of the ocean. It is in a great location for Santa Monica and Venice. The staff is very nice! We would definitely choose Huntley the next visit.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at The Penthouse! We hosted a private event for approximately 100 guests, and the entire team handled it beautifully from the planning stages through the end of the event. A huge part of that experience was Mandy, the Director of Events. She was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process: responsive, accommodating, and incredibly flexible, particularly as our dietary requirements continued to change. She made the pre-planning process feel easy and collaborative and was always willing to work with us to find a solution. As an event planner, having that kind of partner at a venue is invaluable. The space itself is stunning. The views are absolutely incredible and provided the perfect backdrop for our event. The food was excellent, the cocktails were fantastic, and even the smallest details were thoughtfully executed, right down to the branded ice in the drinks, which was such a great touch. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. Luke, Michael, Alexa, along with the rest of the staff were so wonderful. They were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the event. Manju, the General Manager of the hotel, also took such great care of us and made sure everything ran smoothly. When you're managing an event of this size, having a venue team you can trust makes an enormous difference, and we felt completely supported. Hosting 100 people is no small undertaking, but Mandy and the entire Penthouse team made it look effortless. Everything flowed smoothly, our guests were well taken care of, and the level of service throughout the evening was outstanding. If we host another event in Santa Monica, or honestly, anywhere near Santa Monica, The Penthouse will absolutely be at the top of our list. Beautiful venue, fantastic food and cocktails, incredible views, and, most importantly, a truly exceptional team. P.S. This a weird comment to leave on a review but just trust me, make sure to check out the bathrooms before you leave. ;)
