You know you’ve reached wine country when you arrive at Meritage Resort & Spa. On the threshold of Napa Valley, its design may be Tuscan-inspired, but its soul is pure Napa, with views of a grapevine-covered slope as you swim, hiking (or strolling) trails through nine acres of vineyards, an underground tasting room, and wine served at every turn. But it’s also a place that recognises exceptional wine should be paired with life’s other luxuries: separate adult and family pools, al fresco fireplaces and whirlpools, lazy Sunday brunches, and wining and dining venues like award-winning Siena, the Crush bowling lounge, a café-come-gelateria, and a luxury wine bar. But it’s the Estate Cave that promises the most indulgence; 40 ft underground, it hosts a wine tasting room and Spa Terra’s steam grottos and soaking pools.

We’re thrilled‼️ Concerned as we arrived, we have one additional person, so we needed an upgrade to our reservation, I asked the representative at the desk, thinking the price would be out of reach, to our SHOCK, we’re upgraded to an awesome suite, similar to a two bedroom house with EVERYTHING, Yes EVERYTHING‼️ Thank You🌷😘 Merritage‼️
Best massage ever!

Christina has the hands of an angel. My massage was heavenly and tension relieving. The only thing I would change is the time. I only did 50 minutes but will do a longer massage next time.

Alexander was a wonderful host. He was very helpful in making sure our family got what we needed. He was a critical part of our fabulous stay.
Disappointing two night stay.

The service at the Meritage was terrible from the Front desk to housekeeping to room service to food quality at Olive and Hay and more. Spa staff were incredibly unprofessional.
The only friendly and professional staff person we encountered was Tiajhanna. She was terrific!
Resort yes, luxury not quite. Worth the stay, sure.

Spacious rooms, decent amenities and great service. While I wouldn’t say it’s a luxury resort, the place is nice with lots of dining and cocktail options on the grounds. Dual sink vanity and comfortable beds. Private balconies to the rooms.

Kind of a funky layout with different buildings and brand names, but each has a host, bar or dining area and space gym. This is located in the far south end of Napa, so not in the heart, but close and also a decent launch point to Sonoma.
I found the service to be impeccable and a selling point for sure. Good enough for families too. Walking through some adjacent vineyards. I’d stay again.
