The hotel

An oasis in the desert, you’ll find a huge range of things to keep you busy among the Hyatt Regency's 45-acres of perfectly manicured gardens. There’s seven different pools to cool off in, as well as a spa for a little more indulgence. If you’re a golfer, pick from two courses – and a pro can help iron out any kinks in your swing. Travelling with young ones? There are some great kids activities going on, as well as a family pool with a water slide. Maybe something more tranquil? The adults-only pool may be more your style – and maybe a cocktail by the pool at sunset followed by a tender steak.

This is an awesome resort if your looking for a family weekend. The pools are kept clean, the slides are fun, and the lazy river was great to lounge in during the heat of the day. The pool side food is pretty decent for resort offerings and the drinks were approved by my wife who usually doesnt like alcohol.

2 fun waterslides and lazy river. Good food and I liked that they had filtered water refill stations all over. The rooms were really good size and they give you two free bottles of water. I liked the Bike rentals. We rode bikes down to the Pickleball courts. The water refill was empty at the Pickleball courts, but it was so fun. The only… Read more

I liked the Bike rentals. We rode bikes down to the Pickleball courts. The water refill was empty at the Pickleball courts, but it was so fun. The only disappointment is that when we first arrived, the waterslides were all closed because there was lightning 20 miles away other than that everything was great. Read less

Great hotel for the whole family regardless of age. Love that the hotel has a water park and when you need a break you can just walk to the room and relax! The poolside bar/restaurant had amazing service. They remember your order details for the future. Awesome water park experience.

There were several miscommunications that made this stay underwhelming. First, after arriving later than planned, I asked valet to keep the car nearby since we had dinner reservations and were just checking in. Instead, the car was parked in the garage, which delayed us and caused us to be late. The valet apologized, but it was frustrating. Next morning at breakfast, a second hostess took our name and said outdoor seating would be ready shortly. She never came back, and we watched others who arrived after us get seated. I had to follow up, and we were finally seated inside. Clearly, our name was never communicated properly. Later, I requested a 4pm checkout, as I was told at check-in it wouldn’t be a problem if I confirmed in the morning. When I did, I was told 2pm was the latest—another example of poor communication. No one was rude, but the service felt indifferent and disengaged. Even when I said at checkout that the stay wasn’t great, it was brushed off without any real concern. As a Hyatt Globalist, I usually don’t have complaints, but this stay felt like no one was really paying attention. A little more care and consistency would’ve made a big difference. Read less

The pool area was also wonderful. There was a baby/toddler area with shadded chairs and a 1 1/2 fr pool. Next door there is a smaller slide for toddlers. My 9 year old son loved the “Waterpark” area with two big slides and a lazy river. I also enjoyed the water slide as an adult :-) They had fun activities like slide races and bracelet making throughout the day. The schedule was available at check in and then posted throughout the resort. The service was phenomenal. The decor of the hotel was also unexpectedly beautiful. I will 100% be back. Read less
