Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is very close to all the shops and restaurants so we could walk to dinner, but is far enough away so it wasn't noisy at night time. Liked the fire pits but didn't get to use the pool. Would stay here again if we ever go back to Palm Springs.

This was our second visit to PS. First time we stayed at the Marriott Renaissance. It was nice but a bit too big and corporate feeling. Many reviewers say to stay at a boutique hotel when in PS. We weren’t sure about a small boutique and the Palm Mountain presented itself as something in between a big corporate hotel and a true boutique. We feel we made a good choice. This is a medium sized property with all the amenities we wanted. Beautiful grounds, nice pool area, and super quiet yet just a few steps to the heart of downtown restaurants and bars. Front desk staff are awesome. Jane was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were recently renovated and well appointed with frig, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Room was quiet and comfortable. Nice little touches… love the complementary Starbucks in the morning in the lobby and the pleasant - not too sleepy, not too rowdy - music at the pool. We also took the complementary bikes on a ride. Palm Mountain was a great value. Highly recommend. Read less

This hotel was such a good price we did not expect too much. We were so happily surprised. The location is ideal. A very short walk to Palm Canyon Drive and its' shops and restaurants. We walked to our appointments at the spa at sec-he and to happy hour and restaurants. We booked a room with a patio, and our room was in a little secluded area with about 5 others. We all shared a large patio with tables and chairs. It was beautifully landscaped and so quiet. Our room was very clean and large. The only downsides were the $22 per day resort fee (I don't know what makes something a resort, but there was only a modest pool and bikes for rent), and the lack of parking spaces (only a problem on the weekend and we found close and free street parking). Everyone who worked there was helpful and personable, and the place is beautifully landscaped and clean everywhere. We will definitely stay there again. Read less

Mostly the stay at this hotel was good. The location was perfect right in the middle of town and an easy walk to all the restaurants and bars you could want. The room was nice although we found the bathroom very small. The pool was pleasant, it was deep and heated to a good temperature but as older adults we almost always stay in adult only properties and because it was a busy weekend there were quite a few kids and toddlers in the pool so is wasn't a particularly relaxing experience. The main issue we had and why I took off a star was the sleepng environment and the inability to get the room dark. There was a large window that had a blind to pull down so that was fine but right beside it was a door with a large window that just had shutters. There was a bright light on all night outside the door that came in and kept the room pretty bright. I don't know why there wasn't a blind in front of the door to pull down. For me have a light shine in your face all night when you're trying to sleep is pretty annoying. Read less
