“Wonderful stay in Palm Desert”

In mid-December, I had the chance to stay at the Westin Desert Willow Villas for 5 nights to enjoy the nice warm weather and take a break from the cold weather in the Bay Area. I have stayed at this property previously, and each time I was impressed by the professional and attentive team at this Westin. Special recognition to Veida, who was so friendly and professional and went the extra mile to ensure I had another great stay at the resort. The General Manager is also very courteous and responsive, and set a great example of leadership, which is reflected in the team's high level of professionalism at this property. The one-bedroom, larger villa was comfortable and offered a great view of the golf course. It featured a kitchen, a separate sitting area, a bedroom, and a washer and dryer. During this stay, a section of the golf course is adjacent to a construction area. Still, it did not affect the overall experience, and the construction is anticipated to be completed in 2026. Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to returning to this resort next time I visit Palm Desert.

idk why people are complaining about this property. we had a fantastic stay in a 2 room villa. the grounds were peaceful, well maintained and it really felt like a vacation resort. no, there aren't people walking around handing out cocktails and laying towels down on your pool chair, but when you're a parent, all you want is a beautiful, serene spot where your kids can have fun and feel safe. this property exceeded our expectations. the room was clean, comfortable and lovely. all of the kitchen amenities were a bonus. there was a (free?) EV charger right near our room (but it was a very slow charge so we ended up going into Palm Desert to charge our car). the staff was friendly and accommodating. we will definitely return!

“Great stay”

Stayed here for 4 nights and it hit the spot. Nice room set up - comfy bedroom, spacious bathroom, solid kitchen/family room combo. Was typical of a previous Marriott Vacation Club architecture/decor/styling - not the highest end/modern set up but more than adequate and functional. Parking is outside and our recommendation here is to park a little further under some cover vs the spots right outside the building that are in direct sunlight. We were in a building that was in close proximity to the Quiet Pool - that was great to swim laps in, rarely crowded, but often in the shade, so the water was a bit cool upon entry. The fitness center had what you needed and is quite popular with guests. The Main Pool has a water slide, loud music and capacity to fit a ton of people - that was not our scene. We did partake in some nice recently repainted pickleball courts and there's a social where you can drop in and play with others at the resort which was very well attended and fun. We played golf next door at the Desert Willow Golf Course - very nice public course. Lots of stores and other amenities that are very accessible to where this Westin is located.
