Our family LOVES Vespara and has for many years. The location is exceptional...right on the beach, easy access to the boardwalk, ocean and Pismo shopping and dinning! The Vespara restaurant is also very good and the chicken wings arevyum!! GM David and staff are also welcoming and helpful!

Check in and out was quick and easy, the onsite restaurant is very good and our room was beautiful and comfortable. Dog friendly and right on the pier with beach access. Super walkable to restaurants and shops. We had incomparable views to last night’s fireworks show. Will definitely visit again.
Nice oceanfront but lacks in readiness

We stayed at the hotel 2x in one week as we passed in and out of Pismo. One day we got there at 5pm and our room was not ready even though check in is at 4pm, i called them at 5:45 and they said my room was ready and they tried to call me but did not leave a message. Second time we stayed later in the week, same thing, room was not ready and they said they would call and luckily my husband checked with front desk and the room was ready. Both times we waited almost an hour to get our room. We were there morning of fourth of july and it was a great vibe. the firepit tables were cozy. easy access to beach.

It was such a beautiful, relaxing stay! Room, bedding, and bathroom were all VERY clean. Bedding was comfortable. I had an ocean front room, worth every penny!
Staff was great, great customer service. The restaurant was delish with variety of dishes and drinks. Steps to the beach and pier.

We stayed at Vespera Resort last December for a local anniversary staycation with our two dogs, and it far exceeded our expectations. We were simply looking for a dog-friendly hotel near the beach, but what we found was something truly special.
From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff made us feel so welcomed and celebrated—especially Danielle, Aiden, and several other team members whose names I can't recall, but whose kindness made a lasting impression. The little touches throughout our stay, like a surprise delivery of wine and cake to our room and genuine warmth from every staff interaction, made our celebration feel truly meaningful.
We loved having brunch at Somerset and dinner at Pequin—both offered delicious options with beautiful ambiance. The views from our oceanfront balcony were stunning, especially at sunset, and the complimentary e-bikes allowed us to explore Pismo Beach with ease and joy every day.
We booked our stay through Amex’s Hotel Collection and felt fully appreciated as Platinum Elite guests with Marriott. I highly recommend splurging on a balcony room with ocean view or oceanfront—it elevated our entire experience.
Thanks to this stay, we’ve already booked a return visit for our next celebration in October. We’re so grateful to the Vespera team for making our anniversary unforgettable. - Andrew & Bradon Barmann-Schwarz
