This is my 2nd time back at this resort and it was better than the 1st. I took my mother with me and we had such a blast. Coming from Los Angeles we were both very tired and looking to relax. I am so glad to have stayed at this beachfront resort. I have the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Diante Ashby and he helped me with the right room accommodations and also things to do around the area. It was a much needed getaway. I also enjoyed the restaurant on property. Will be coming back really soon.

Overall the resort was nice and in a wonderful location but when looking deeper into everything there were a few things that need to be worked on. The sheer curtain in our room was missing, there were stains on the carpet in our room and down the hall, there was a mold like substance in the closet corner, cob webs above the mirror in the bathroom, the sliding doors need to be oiled or something (very hard to open and close) and we utilized the washer and dryer available to us and one washer was broken and the other didn't seal correctly so our socks and small items kept getting stuck in the seal and I would have to hand wash them and hang them in our room to dry. I am incredibly pleased and grateful to the staff at the Bahia. I had the best experience scheduling my reservation with Renée Stauffer. She was quick to return my call and was very knowledgeable about the venue and gave great recommendations on nearby restaurants and places to visit. She was very kind and immediately made me feel assured that we had made the right decision to stay at the Bahia b/c she took the time to go over/listen to our wishlist (i.e. room accommodations, view from our room, proximity to the pool, restaurant, amenities, etc.) Upon arrival, everything that she discussed/booked was exactly what we got - no surprises or disappointments. So glad! We loved our room and view of Sea World's fireworks! The staff was amazing. From the moment that we walked in, the concierge folks were warm and helpful. I was very impressed at how attentive everyone was. The whole resort was beautiful and clean. It wasn't too busy and we loved the fact that guests had our own private beach/bay/cabanas. I felt very safe with my family. The restaurants had amazing food and we were 5 minutes from Mission Beach. We had such a wonderful experience. Cannot wait to come back! Read less
