310 rooms, studios and suites. All with air-conditioning, balcony or patio, TV, complimentary WiFi, iHome docking station, safe, Keurig® coffee maker, small fridge, hairdryer, and iron and board. Standard Rooms with either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Studio Rooms are located in the tower and offer views of Mission Bay and downtown San Diego or Pacific Beach. They also feature a dining area, and private balcony, with 2 queen-size beds and a sofabed, sleeiping maximum 6 adults.

Suites offer direct access to Mission Bay's beach and boardwalk. They also feature a separate living area with pull-out sofa, dining room and balcony or patio, with either 1 king-size or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Oceana Coastal Kitchen (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Moray's (open for lunch and dinner). Sunday Champgane brunch also available at Oceana Coastal Kitchen. Swimming pool and whirlpool. Spa*. Fitness centre. Seasonal Yoga*. Action Sport Rentals* (paddleboards, sailboats, kayaks, surfboards, bicycles, segways). Games arcade. Room service*. He took the time to really listen, ask the right questions, and help us choose the perfect room, not just something available, but something that would truly suit our family and make our trip special. His care and attention made me feel not only taken care of, but genuinely excited for our time at the resort. Our fist time here and in San Diego. We got a room upgrade and free parking as we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. We really liked our room with the view over the bay. I had the pleasure of staying at the Catamaran Resort and Spa with my family and I absolutely fell in love with the resort. Diante in reservations was very nice and helped me plan my stay. The resort is close to the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.

We have been going to the Catamaran every year and sometimes multiple times a year since 2017. You cannot beat the location. It’s walking distance to many restaurants the bay and the beach. Every time we go, we feel like we’re in Hawaii without the long plane ride. They have luaus in the summer which is a must and plenty of activities for the kids… Read more

Every time we go, we feel like we’re in Hawaii without the long plane ride. They have luaus in the summer which is a must and plenty of activities for the kids to do. The rooms have been renovated in our nicely appointed. I have to give a HUGE shout out to our reservation specialist Diante! He is absolutely amazing and tries his best to help in any way possible. He’s probably the number one reason why we keep coming back year after year. He makes an easy decision to stay at the Catamaran. There’s plenty of others, but we keep going back there. Read less
