Lobby bar staff was great! While staying with family at the resort we were taken care of by Jaden, Chris, Andrew and Salvador! They treated our entire group like family and made us feel welcome everytime we visited. Just a wonderful experience in thus area if the hotel!

The Mission Bay Resort Overdelivered!
May 29, 2025cthomas2000San Diego, California
Our entire family of 14 kids and grandkids spent a terrific weekend at Mission Bay Resort celebrating a milestone birthday. The location, staff, room assignments, and breadth of activities for every family member were all top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for any reason, business, pleasure, or just because. You won
t be disappointed!
Avoid holiday weekend

Avoid holiday weekend. Staff is overwhelmed and rooms are not available for early check in. Pool is overwhelmingly crowded. Parking is limited. The pool was so packed there was no seats. Not many places to eat. Also the view is not that good. Will stay with usual Paradise Point
Not what it was.

This turned out to be an extra resort tax. Not advised at check in or checkout. Of course likely such an increase will be covered in the wording but…

Outside hotel looking tired now. Rooms were ok. Disappointed with being misled over bill. Package was inclusive of resort tax however the day after leaving an additional charge went on my account. This turned out to be an extra resort tax. Not advised at check in or checkout. Of course likely such an increase will be covered in the wording but such an increase was dealt with underhand especially given my son was charged exactly the same way. Poor performance from such a hotel group.
