The hotel

It’s said that life in San Francisco is best lived on the waterfront. Where better to sample it than at Hotel Zoe, a stroll from Pier 39 and the bay. Wander out and you’ll stumble upon many fabulous shops and eateries, or pop into the hotel’s Italian trattoria for homemade crab ravioli or roasted sea bass. They serve a delicious breakfast too - why not grab a table on the sidewalk and watch as Mason Street comes to life?

Hotel is in a great location. 2 blocks from the hop on/off bus service, close to Pier 39 and only a few miles from Chinatown. Room was clean and staff were very helpful. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone heading for San Fran.

Had an amazing experience at this hotel! The location was perfect – close to everything we wanted to see. The room was clean, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's no concierge on site, but Max at the front desk was really nice and gave us helpful tips about the city and public transportation. Thanks to him, we got to ride and… Read more

There's no concierge on site, but Max at the front desk was really nice and gave us helpful tips about the city and public transportation. Thanks to him, we got to ride and enjoy the cable cars, and also made it to the ballpark pretty easily. Would stay here again. Read less

Our stay at the Zoe Hotel was wonderful because we saw familiar faces. Ariel remembered us from before and always made us feel like family. He went out of his way to help us with a problem we had trying to get our daughter set up in her dorm room. We couldn’t find what we needed so Ariel remembered our needs and when he went home found what we were looking for and brought it to work with him the next day and gave it to us so my daughter could complete her project….. that was so awesome that he went out of his way and on his time off thought of us…. It’s people like him that make life amazing….. thank you Ariel for your kindness! The Zoe Hotel is lucky to have someone special like him to add something other Hotels can’t …. Read less

This hotel is to be avoided I don't even understand how it's possible to have to sleep on a sofa bed where you feel a huge iron bar in your back when you sleep on it. I pulled an all-nighter What's more, there's no valet available to collect our suitcases when we leave. In the evening you have to be prepared to take a drink in advance because… Read more
This hotel is to be avoided I don't even understand how it's possible to have to sleep on a sofa bed where you feel a huge iron bar in your back when you sleep on it. I pulled an all-nighter What's more, there's no valet available to collect our suitcases when we leave. In the evening you have to be prepared to take a drink in advance because if you don't have a drink there are no more Cokes in the bar and there is no room service after 21:00. I am very dissatisfied with my stay in this hotel. Read less
