The hotel was nice. A perfect location to Fishermen's Wharf. All the tourist in a convenient location. Clifford made our stay amazing and comfortable. He was so polite , professional and went the extra mile for us. We appreciated his efforts. The girls from Kansas!

We stayed here for three nights before a cruise. The hotel was excellent. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped. The hotel offered free beer and wine for guests between 17:00 and 16:00 and free tea and coffee in the morning. The hotel is in a great location for Fisherman’s Wharf and I would definitely stay here again.

I had quite a pleasant stay here last weekend, on a trip that was a mix of business and pleasure. Even before the stay, via some email exchanges and Q&A, my experience with their customer service gave a sense of what was to follow. First, location is excellent, a stone's throw away from everything worth seeing in the area. I love hotels like these- not too 'corporate' (even if this is part of the IHG chain) and with charm without being a tiny boutique hotel. I've always had a great experience with Kimpton, and this was no exception. Also, during my stay I saw the Singapore Airlines crew, so we're all probably on to something! The very acclaimed Filipino restaurant Abaca is on-site, a DJ spinning by the front desk on evenings. Complimentary coffee bar in the morning, wine hour in the evening. Front desk staff I interacted with were great, no matter the hour. Down-to-earth is the best description that comes to mind, thinking back. Upon arrival, I first found my room nondescript, even bare bones: no artwork on the walls, lacking a certain pizzaz. BUT...once I got settled, I found myself very comfortable in the quarters. Everything is clean/not run down, and I must say one other stand-out: well-lit! I don't usually see multiple lighting options/lamps in hotel rooms during my frequent travels, so this was a highlight for people like me (working in the room, makeup application, and the like!) As others have said free tea & coffee in mornings iced water in the afternoons & beer & wine between 5&6pm all of which i think was a great touch. The staff we had dealings with were Cliff, Esmerelda & Louis & were all great. Cliff gave us a great welcome & Esmerelda was really helpful sorting our taxi to the airport.
