Very good location behind Union Square, which made public transport very accessible, including cable cars. Very graciously decorated reception, that is manned 24/7. The hotel operates the “no house-keeping unless you ask” policy that is now common in many hotels. Give this some thought before you’re asked the question, or you may feel inclined to say “it’s ok, thank you” out of politeness. Would recommend, even though the rooms are in need of some refurbishment to reach the expectations raised by the reception area.

Great location, nice, clean, well appointed rooms. Very reasonable too. We stay in town and few times a year and somehow missed this place. This will be our new go to spot.

Hotel Abri was an excellent choice for our stay. We enjoyed the location relative to sites and transportation options. We felt comfortable and safe throughout our stay. The hotel and rooms were clean and had a timeless San Francisco charm to them. Suite was spacious for a family of four. Staff was excellent, beginning with Adam upon check in, and with every contact from housekeeping calls to front desk assistance to check out. We utterly enjoyed our experience at Hotel Abri.
