Get the true Fisherman’s Wharf experience at this fashionable hotel. Hyatt Centric's red-brick design fits in well with its surroundings, and its arched windows frame famous attractions like Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, and The Embarcadero. Step inside and see its exposed brick and industrial accessories, but with a chic ‘seaside hotel’ twist. For a treat, grab your towel and head to the courtyard pool and whirlpool. And why not end the day with a glass of local wine by the fireplace — and maybe a tasty crab and clam chowder?

The best part of the stay is the hotel is extremly near the wharf. It is a walking distance to all restaurants and fun.

I did not like the smell of the Hotel once you walk in. It is full of perfume and it is overwhelming. If they have tone down the fragrance the place will be wonderful.
Great family stay

Great stay for three nights. Adeel and all the staff were very nice and helpful. Switched rooms to a courtyard room which faced the pool but was super quiet. Shower and wifi great, ned superb. Free bikes are nice but not great, they definitely need an upgrade, electric would be much better too so you could go to golden gate bride.

Lovely Hyatt Centric SF Hotel with friendly service but time for major renovation

I used the breakfast coupons every day and the food was fairly typical. The staffs were friendly and always made sure that I was well taken care of.
The room itself is comfortable, but I have to admit that the hotel is due for a major renovation. The carpet look tired and the rooms have seen better times.
While I have no problem staying here again, the management really needs to think about a major overhaul in the lobby and the rooms. With the friendly service, the hotel can score better reviews if they can match the service with a modern lobby and better rooms.

Great location and excellent customer service from check in to end of stay. We’ll be back here at the SF Fisherman’s Wharf Hyatt again!
Great location but lousy breakfast choices and no coffee in lobby after 8 am
Jul 1, 2025TruthseekerzSanta Clarita
Great location for the Wharf. Thankfully there is a Starbucks nearby because coffee is only available in the lobby until 8 am and the only market place breakfast choice is cereal. I realize they want you to spend$40 each at the breakfast buffet but not everyone wants an elaborate breakfast. Everything else was up to Hyatt standards.
