Room was a good size and clean, the bed was too soft for us, no fault of the hotel. Room was cleaned and clean towels every day. We had breakfast twice and ate in the bar once, both were good.
Tony the barman was very helpful and gave us advice and recommendations.
Hotel is on 2 cable car routes, which is handy as the hotel is at the top of a hill

Just checking out of the Stanford Court Hotel after experiencing amazing service, food and accommodations from Shirley, Daniel, Carlos and Honey. I hope to stay here whenever I’m back in the city of San Francisco.
The employees are amazing, and get it done with a smile on their face.
2 thumbs down....way down

TERRIBLE I read all reviews before booking and wonder now if reviews where legit. Staff was very nice, location great, that is it. Paid $71. For stale chips 1/2 cup salsa, 3 mini(very mini) tacos with no more than 3 tablespoons of meat. Bruchetta that was 4 small slices of French bread with crushed tomatoes and a small pizza which was decent. This is all true no kidding. Look somewhere else to stay.

We managed to get a room with a fantastic view of the financial district. Close to the top of knob Hill is a great location with Chinatown on the doorstep and cable cars going past regularly to help you get around. The staff are really helpful and more than happy to take time out to provide advice. Although the internal decor was slightly dated…

Close to the top of knob Hill is a great location with Chinatown on the doorstep and cable cars going past regularly to help you get around. The staff are really helpful and more than happy to take time out to provide advice. Although the internal decor was slightly dated the room itself was spacious and very unappointed. Would definitely stay again if we managed to make it back to San Fran.

This gave us the freedom to roam the beautiful city. The location was perfect! Right next to cable car stop and a short walk to China Town and North Beach. The rooms were clean and just what we expected from the pictures. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious! We will definitely stay there the next time we travel west.
