One for shopaholics and sightseers alike, Parc 55 San Francisco is easy shopping-bag-hauling distance from Union Square — the only question is, do you hit the big-name brands of the nine-storey Westfield mall or the one-of-a-kind boutiques around the square? Its address also puts you a quick hop from Powell Street’s cable car turnaround, Yerba Buena Gardens, and Chinatown. Once you’ve filled your suitcase and your camera’s memory, you can enjoy the locally inspired dishes of Cable 55 (with its equally local microbrews), and Thai treats of Kin Khao.

Bed Bugs

Good security and location. Our bed had bed bugs and it was very stressful to think of the aftermath to prevent them from bringing them home. Now I always know to triple check instead of thinking I’m paranoid.

Cannot fault the hotel. Lovely and clean and spacious. Really varied and full breakfast options. Will stay again without hesitation
Best Experience, Value in San Fran

The whole experience exceeded my expectations from getting a better room than was selected, to the personnel being friendly and courteous to one of the best gyms in any hotel I have stayed at. At a great price, making it the best value in the city
Outstanding position and comfortable facilities!

There have been a few oversights in the preparation of the room, nevertheless nothing too meaningful.
We tested the restaurant only at breakfast, and it offered a broad variety of savory foods, sweets and beverages!
Definitely recommended!

This hotel is fine. A mid-range (with luxury prices) Hilton close to Union Square. The rooms were comfortable, though even on the 20th floor we could clearly hear street noise. The housekeeping staff did not respect our DND tags, and would start knocking on the doors at 8am. We felt like every time we tried to eat or drink, we were being trapped to spend more money. Ordered a glass of wine - charged for 1.5 glasses bc we were "sharing" the glass ($35). Went to breakfast, told our 12 y.o did not meet the 5-12 children's pricing and then charged $6.50 for each small mug of hot cocoa. We had Gold status credits, and it was so confusing that it took the front desk ten min to figure out at check out and I still don't think it was correctly applied. Parking was $90+/night.
I know this is a city hotel in an expensive city, but instead of offering an above average stay experience with city pricing, it felt like an average stay experience with a pay here button at every turn.
