Put yourself slap-bang in the middle of some of San Francisco’s most fashionable theatres, restaurants, and sights. The boutique Marker Hotel is a great base — and its energy matches its setting. It was built in 1910 but you can still see its ‘Beaux Arts’ beauty in the lobby’s floor-to-ceiling fireplace and grand marble staircase. The hotel’s anything but olde-worlde though, with little touches like WiFi, and a Hydration Station providing fruit and herb infused water on tap.

Very nice hotel. I the hearth of San Francisco. The front desk personnel were super friendly and attentive.
The hotel offers free coffee during morning and a glass of wine in the afternoon.
Rooms are spacious and clean. If I return to the city, I will be returning to The Marker

I stayed at the Marker for two nights and had the best experience. The hotel is beautiful and staff is amazing. They have one of the best gyms with quality equipment!

Highly recommend working with the Marker if you have a group coming into town! On top of it being a beautiful building, the team at the Marker made everything very smooth for my groups arrival, helped with our oversized van needs, and all at a great price for the rooms! Thanks Jazmine and the front desk team for all your help :)
Great place to stay, great staff.

Great hotel in a very good location near Union Square. The building was good, but the best part was the staff. Very helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure to ask them anything. A nice point also was the two bottles of water in the rooms and the complimentary glass of wine or beer. We will definitely stay there when we come back to San Francisco.…

Stayed here on the last leg of our American trip. Probably one of our least favourite hotels.
Location of the hotel with children was not great, I would not stay near union square again. The room was ok bathroom was dated.
We wouldn't go back
