Mar Monte Hotel was disappointing. When my wife asked about early check-in, the staff refused, which we understood, but the front desk’s attitude was unnecessarily rude. The room smelled harshly of bleach, more like an old motel than a resort. Amenities didn’t match expectations and there were no water dispensers in the building and no separate restroom as advertised. Overall, the property lacks the quality and comfort one would expect from a resort. I would not recommend this place to family and friends.

Room smelled like animals had been in there, carpeted floor, smelly shower, overall dated and not clean. Asked to move rooms and none were available. Other colleagues staying reported similar foul smelling rooms.
