Great Stay

We stayed here for 3 nights. Checking in was smooth. The room was clean, beds comfortable, air con was fab. The breakfast was quite good. The hotel is just on the edge of Mariposa Town. It’s about 5mins walking distance to the Main Street which has a few restaurants. There is a shop opposite the hotel which is open until 12am. All in all we had…

This is a wonderful Best Western hotel. We visited in the off season month of January, when visitors to Yosemite are many fewer than in the summer and fall months.
We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff and they gave me a full summary of the amenities available at the property. She gave us a top floor room on the back side (quieter side) of the building, as we requested.
The room itself was well appointed, with two comfortable queen beds with very nice linen and 4 small pillows on each bed. There was a Keurig coffee maker and a microwave and a mini-fridge as well.
The heater in the room worked very well to take the cold chill off the night.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet on the back side of the building.
We had breakfast each morning in the breakfast room, which offered a nice assortment of hot and cold items.
All of the staff that we encountered were professional and warmly welcoming and kind.
I would not hesitate to return here again!
Word to the wise: there are no elevators so if you don't want to climb stairs, you should ask for a ground-level room.

Over the top in little touches and cleanliness

This hotel was amazing. Very clean and so many little touches, from giving a map of the town, to real plates at breakfast, to a little bow on the bath mat. Front desk mentioned the cutest little bar and recommended restaurants with great food. They even gave me a choice of rooms so that I could have a quiet rest. Free hot and cold drinks in…

My wife and I stayed here on a two week road trip of the west coast. This trip is the final one in a series of road trips to visit every state in the country and we've now been to 49. We have stayed in dozens of Best Western Plus hotels all over the country and I would put this one in the top 3. Surprisingly, the best ones were in wonderful little towns like Mariposa (the other two were in Waterbury, VT and Moab, UT). There are so many good things to say that I have to just list them.
Large clean room
Very well lit room
Large bathroom area
2 suitcase stands (not 1)
Very large tv
Great water pressure
Pharmacopia citrus shampoo/cond/body wash - best EVER
Nicely decorated
Walking distance to everything in town
Very friendly and helpful staff
No USB ports but plenty of AC outlets
Very large bathroom counter
Plenty of towels
In short, if you are visiting Yosemite and need a nice place to stay as close to the park entrance as you can get, then look no further. I give it a very strong 5 stars.

Great value, great breakfast, great staff and lovely hotel
Nov 2, 2024davidgirlingGreat Yarmouth, United Kingdom
Great place. From the outside, it looks a bit tired, but our room was huge and immaculate. Had everything in it that we needed. Breakfast was surprisingly fantastic, with friendly staff. Reception staff were great, very friendly, helpful with local knowledge and both recommended restaurants for dinner were great. Highly recommend
