Then stroll to the corner of the street and you're already on Magnificent Mile so you can shop to your hearts content, and just a little further on is 360 Chicago for some unreal views of the city and Lake Michigan. Speaking of good views, the hotel has a rooftop bar on the 26th floor, so you can enjoy a cocktail with a glorious backdrop in the summer. And if it's a little chilly, you can cosy up in the lobby bar instead - so you're sorted all year round.

“Excellent hotel”

Stayed 2 nights. Great location with parking available in a private car park opposite ( approx $50 a night but able to book via QR code inside the hotel) There is other parking in the area, which is probably cheaper, however this was convenient and secure. Staff were very friendly and the roof top bar was lovely, with fantastic views. Room was great and the included breakfast was excellent. Even though the hotel was very busy there was loads of room in the breakfast area, with table allocation managed by the staff. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This was my very first experience with Riu. It made my first trip to Chicago all the more memorable. I especially enjoyed the room service, cocktail hour, the view, AND las but NOT lease- the breakfast buffet!

A really nice hotel which still has that new-build freshness. Prior to arrival we asked for a room with 2 x Queen beds which the hotel acknowledged however on arrival they only had a 1 x King with sofa bed. When we got to the room the sofa bed had not been made up and the TV remote control was missing a battery (!) however housekeeping and maintenance were super quick to sort. The breakfast buffet was excellent. A very good selection and the stars were the staff. Despite it being extremely busy they were swift, efficient and friendly making sure every table was clean - all with smiles on their faces. Location wise the hotel is right next to the ‘Magnificent Mile’ so shops are on your doorstep plus lots to see, do and eat all within walking distance. The hotel and surrounding area was clean, safe and, overall, a really nice place to visit.
