And if it's a little chilly, you can cosy up in the lobby bar instead - so you're sorted all year round.

“Anniversary Weekend Getaway”

The cost for the weekend was extremely reasonable. I do wish we got a room with a view, but we did not pay for that. Pluses of this getaway? The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING. It's definitely unmatched from all the other hotels we've stayed at. The service was wonderful. Even when my partner forgot his keys in the nightstand, I called the front desk to expect him to walk in and ask about getting his keys. As soon as he walked in, they had a hotel key ready for him to prevent any further delay. Another instance was when the safe in our room wouldn't open and we kept our valuables in it. We went down to tell the front desk, and they legitimately had somebody at our door to fix it in less than 10 minutes. The room was very comfortable and clean as well. The minuses of stay were keeping the room a certain temperature. The thermostat was a little hard to program despite the instructions. I would've liked an extra set of blankets for the room. Lastly, I assume the hotel has a no smoking policy, but there was a heavy marijuana smell lingering in the lobby and hallways. I'm not against the use of recreational marijuana, but it did buffer my enthusiasm to come down to the bar or lessened my appetite to eat breakfast when the guests smelled like it, too. I would hope that stricter enforcement of a no smoking policy would've been appreciated.

This hotel is located within walking distance of so many of our favorite restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful time! the room was clean, the service was impeccable, and the bed was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rui plaza , staff were very friendly, we would like to thank you for the champagne you sent to the room on my husband’s birthday , he enjoyed it along with the cup cakes I sent to the room for him . Staff at the front desk were very helpful delivering the cakes to the room for me .we would definitely book the Rui plaza Chicago again . .
