Deep in downtown, Le Méridien New Orleans presents The Big Easy in all its glitzy glory. After a mega-million dollar refit, it mixes the city’s refined style and sense of fun, with pops of yellow and blue, music-inspired accessories, and reflections of New Orleans in its photography. Location’s key of course – it’s just 100 metres from Bourbon Street and Harrah’s Casino, and 300 metres from the French Quarter. And they’ve teamed up with The Sweat Social to bring you running tours, Priority Bicycles to offer bike hire, and three incredible art museums to give you complimentary entry. Returning to base, you can swim in the rooftop pool, dine on Deep South inspired dishes at LMNO, and take time out in The Hub – a café-come-bar with complimentary WiFi, a New American menu, and an evening aperitif hour featuring sparkling cocktails.

I had the best bloody Mary of all time in New Orleans at La Meridian across the street from Caesars Casino you have to ask for Vegas and Hunter they are the bomb.com when it comes to drinks. Highly recommend!!

Initial issue at check in even though we’d paid and booked through travel company. House keeping was poor and had to be chased up numerous occasions to get room serviced.
There is also a slight sewage smell in foyer / lobby / bar area (perhaps due to heat).

Bar Longitude 90 is good for lunch but can take a time to get food from order so leave plenty of time if you’re on a schedule.z
Pool is nice but again housekeeping or cleaning should be better.
Hotel position is good for shopping, 15 min walk to French Quarter, opposite the Caesar’s casino and 3 mins from hop on hop off stop
